"There you are." Nayeon smiled as she reached the last step, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as her bare feet padded across the floor.

"I woke up and you weren't in my arms anymore." She pouted as she sat down beside you, curling up to you so she could be as close to you as possible.

Her cheek rested on your shoulder and you looked up from your phone to smile at her, finding that her eyes were filled with love as she stared at you.

"Good morning, cutie." You said before you kissed her head and then stared back at your phone.

Needy for attention from you and curious as to what you were doing that was keeping you from giving that attention to her, she looked down at your phone.

Nayeon wasn't trying to be nosey, she was simply curious as she gazed at the screen.

But you moved a little, turning your phone to the side so she couldn't see what you were up to, and she worried you thought she was being invasive.

"Everything okay?" She asked and you forced a smile but she could see in your eyes that you looked almost uncomfortable. "I'm sorry, baby. I wasn't trying to be nosey or anything. I was just wondering what you were up to."

"It's fine."

As soon as the words left your lips, your phone chimed and you quickly cracked a smile at whatever was on your screen.

Your sweet smile instantly warmed Nayeon's heart.

"What is it?" She asked and moved to try to see what had you cracking that cute smile of yours.

But you quickly tilted your phone so she couldn't catch a glimpse, and her heart sank a little.

"What don't you want me to see?" She giggled. "Baby, I swear, I'm not trying to be nosey-"

"I know. Don't worry, Nayeon. It's nothing."

"I don't believe you. Let me see!" She grinned and tickled you, hoping you'd drop your phone or agree to let her see, but you still refused.

"No," you whined and kept your screen hidden from her curious gaze in whatever way you could; by keeping it against your shirt, or face down on your lap.

"Fine." She sighed and placed her head on your shoulder.

She stared ahead at the tv but continued to look from the corner of her eyes to try to see your phone.

You turned your gaze away from your screen and found her staring back at you.

You could see it in her eyes; she was getting suspicious.

She trusts you. She trusts you with her entire heart and her whole life.

But with how you were hiding your phone, she couldn't help but wonder what it was that you clearly didn't want her to see.

"Okay. What is that you don't want me to see?

"What? Nothing." You chuckled but she didn't believe you.

"I don't believe you." She said as she folded her arms over her chest. "What are you up to? Hm?"

She tried to take your phone out of your hand, only for you to slide it under the throw pillow and out of her reach.

"Nothing!"

She huffed and sat down beside you.

"Whatever. Hide it from me, see if I care." She grumbled, her cheerful and cuddly mood now gone as she pouted beside you.

"Oh, c'mon, Nayeon. Don't be mad." You said as you put your phone down on your lap, screen facing up.

She couldn't help but take a peek, staring at it from the corner of her eyes, only to see that it was unlocked with your background showing. It was just a photo of her; a photo she didn't even know you'd taken.

It was from the other day when you were both hanging out with the girls.

She'd been talking to Dahyun when you snapped that photo; something Dahyun had said made that adorable bunny smile you adore appear on her face and you snapped a few photos to capture and cherish that moment forever.

"Nayeon, look at me."

She heard the seriousness in your voice and instantly, she looked at you.

"Nayeon, you trust me, right?"

"More than anything."

"Than trust me when I tell you what I'm about to say."

She nodded and stared at you, waiting impatiently to see what you were about to say.

"Gotcha!"

She frowned as you burst into laughter; giggling so hard that you dropped your forehead on her chest as your body shook from how hard you were laughing.

"What are you talking about?"

She looked confused - and understandably so.

"It was a prank! I was just pretending to not want you to see anything. I wasn't hiding anything." You smiled as you booped her nose.

She looked as if she didn't believe you.

But when you stopped laughing and looked at her with those eyes full of sincerity, she knew you were being truthful.

Besides, she knows you better than you know yourself. She knows when you're lying or when you're keeping things from her, and she could tell that you weren't doing that now.

"Y/N!" She threw her head back with a groan. "You and your stupid pranks."

"I gotcha." You teased as you poked her sides playfully. "I got you good, didn't I?"

She faked a laugh before pushing you onto your back.

"Fine. You got me." She confessed. "But, I would like to say thank you for letting me see your background on your phone. You're sneaking photos of me now? Hm?"

She was teasing you all in good fun. Her grin was wide, her eyes big and bright as she stared at you.

You tried to find the words to say, but gave up when she stopped teasing you. She brushed a lock of hair behind your ear and stared at you with a look of adoration.

"Don't worry, cutie. I think it's cute. You're cute." She smiled before leaning in for your first kiss on that sunny morning. "So cute." She whispered. "And I love you."

The prank and the teasing were behind you now as you began to move your lips passionately against hers, more than happy to start your day together just like this.
