"Tell him the truth." Those words kept echoing inside your head through your dreams. "Why?" You couldn't help but question why and to who you had to tell the truth to.

It was as if your soul was surrounded by darkness and nothing more. Yet someone was in your head whispering those empty words at you.

They kept pulsating in your head over and over again like church bells. Emptiness everywhere. The only think you could hear was that voice. It was commanding you to tell whoever they were referring to the truth.

"Who do I tell the truth to?" You kept screaming in your head to whoever kept tormenting you. "Tell him the truth. You cant deny the real world." They kept shouting back at you. Whoever was in there knew what was going to happen and they kept rubbing it in your face knowing you're oblivious to the future.

"Get up." You heard from besides you as a loud grunt followed after. Your eyes snapped open to find six blurry bodies before you. At first you couldn't quite register who they were until you heard Reiner shout up from beside you. "Annie!?" Those words immediately snapped your brain to function and see clearly.

"Annie!" You yelled while pouncing on her, hugging her as tight as your body could let you. You couldn't believe it. She's alive, alive and well from what you can see.

"You're alive!" For the fist time in what seemed like decades you felt joy course through your veins at the sight of your friend who you thought was gone for so long.

"Y/n." Her arms slowly wrapped around your body hugging you back. You had completely forgotten other people were in the room as well until you noticed movement from the corner of your eye.

"Huh?" A gasp left your throat while you could hear Reiner panicking from behind you. "Don't worry! We're all on the same side!" You heard Falco cheer while holding on to your leg from his sitting position.

You let go of Annie as she turned around to avoid eye contact. "There's no time. We're going now." Connie spoke up, his voice was serious and straightforward. "Where?" You questioned while taking notice of Armin and Mikasa in the room as well. "To save the world."

They had taken you and Reiner to the camp Hange had set up in the middle of the forest, the plan was to spend the night there while moving once again when the sun rises. The woods were dark and alone other than the group of people present there.

Tension was very thick it felt as if you could cut it with a pair of sharp scissors. Everyone was glaring at each other while accepting the stew Hange had prepared for dinner.

You were sitting between Gabi and Flaco, with your hands on their shoulders. You couldn't help but be protective of them. Not after everything that happened, they were the last bit of family that remained and you wanted to protect them both.

After all Falco had recently lost his brother, you had a clear image of what he was feeling. Gabi probably feels responsible for what happened to Porco as well...

"Instead of staring each other down... can someone help me?" Hange broke the heavy tension while cutting some carrots into the boiling pot of stew in front of her. 'This won't lead to anything good...' you thought while holding Gabi and Falco closer.
