Plot: Scarlett finds out about Y/N has a relationship. Reader is 16 years old

Y/N's POV:

"Mum...." I started as I walked into the kitchen. "Yes darling?" She said. God this is gonna be awkward. "Can I go round to a friends house for a bit. Yano to hang out and stuff." Mum's an actor so I can tell by her facial expression she's not 100% convinced. "What friend? Plus me and some of the Marvel cast are going out for dinner later are you not coming?" I took a deep breath, feeling slightly bad cause she's been excited for me to go with her to this dinner for months. "No I'm sorry mum. It's Paige's house" I say trying to sound as believable as possible. "If you really want to.." she says looking away. "Thank you mum and I'm sorry." I think I heard her mumble something but I did feel bad.

I ran upstairs as fast as I could to message Paige. (I'm sorry but me and my best friend always talk to each other like this and her name is Paige. We love each other really but this is accurate to an actual conversation we had).

If mum rings you can you say I'm at yours all night tonight. I'm going out on a date with Jacob

After that well needed confirmation I got myself into a nice dress (I don't like dresses personally but here we are) and put a pair of baggy jeans and a hoodie over the top. It was uncomfortable but it's fine. I quickly did myself up, sorted myself out and went downstairs and saw all the cast in the living room. "I'm going now mum" i said. "Wait a sec can you ring Paige so I know you're staying there." she said. She had clearly been crying so I quickly pulled out my phone and Paige answered only one ring.

Paige: Sup bitch!

Y/N: Watch it my mums here and your on speaker so don't swear.

Paige: ahhh right SORRY MISS JOHANSSON

Y/N: Jesus you didn't have to shout she can hear you. *I said earning laughs from the whole room* Anyway am I still coming yours?

Paige: yeah, yeah I got a few movies for us to watch and we're gonna order something when you get here

Y/N: Thanks babes

Paige: No problem

Y/N: see you in a bit

Paige: BYYEEEE

I quickly hung up and mum looked at me "Yeah sure go on then" internally I hated myself for lying to her but I wasn't ready to tell anyone yet, even mum. "Thanks. Love you. Bye mum" I say leaving as fast as I can. I made my way to the restaurant, quickly taking off my clothes over the top of my dress and shoved them into a carrier bag I had shoved into my hoodie.

Scarlett's POV:

After Y/N left we all piled into the car and we started driving to the restaurant, everyone could see how upset I was Y/N didn't join us but I was just trying to focus on the positives. When we arrived we got out one by one, me and Evans linked our arms as he's like a big brother to me and knew how much tonight meant to me. We all sat down and began ordering when I felt a nudge from Lizzie and she pointed across the restaurant. I'm not sure whether I'm happy or angry. All I saw was Y/N sat down with a boy that I recognised she brought home from school so that she could help him with his homework.

I began to get up but Evans gently grabbed my arm, "Look I know you're angry at her for lying to you, but look at how happy she is with him. Just please, shout at her when you get home" All I could do was nod slightly as forming words was out the window.

Throughout the entire meal, I think everyone looked at my daughter many many times. Just as we were arguing about who was gonna pay the bill, I saw the boy stand up holding my daughters hands, taking his jacket off and putting it around her and giving her a small kiss. I don't think that I could be happier. Her last boyfriend wasn't as sweet as him, and the smile on her face pasted itself onto mine. As she began to walk out I saw her say something too him then began to mouth to me 'I'm sorry mum' I smiled at the fact she knew I was here 'Go get your man' I mouthed back. She nodded at me waved then walked out, hand in hand with her man.

*timeskip 3 hours later*

Me and everyone else were all sawt on the sofa watching 'Hereditary' when we heard the front door open and I heard my daughter say "Alright, I will do. Same time next week? Okay bye Jacob." She then walked in looking guilty. "I'm sorry I lied to you mum, I just wanted to take our relationship slow and I wasn't ready to tell anyone yet. I hope you understand." I looked at the carrier bag in her hands and chuckled at the sight and she caught on pretty quickly. "Hey! Leave my carrier bag alone!" I began to laugh even more. "You dress like an angel then walk into a fancy restaurant with a plastic carrier bag. You seriously are my daughter."

Then she walked over to me, and sat in my lap and I couldn't help but hold her like she was still a toddler in my arms. Well to me, she's always gonna be my baby. "I love you mum." she said tiredly into my neck, "I love you too darling, sleep well."

I really do be feeding you but I'm motivated rn, for some reason even after therapy (yes I go to therapy judge me)
