"I'm getting tired of this," Melody strained as she felt his magic grow weaker and she ran at him. She pushed his head to the side as she vamped out and bit into his neck, making him cry out in pain before she lifted him up and slammed him to the floor, the boy smart enough to try and protect his head from the impact as he lay groaning and bleeding on the floor.

Melody traced her top lip with her tongue as she tasted his blood.

"Figures your blood doesn't taste like that of a normal witch seeing as you tried to steal the magic that's keeping me alive," she said as the boy rolled onto his side, still very dizzy as his neck oozed blood. "So, now that you're basically out of juice, why don't you tell me who you are and then maybe, I'll tell you who I am."

"And why would I do that?" he asked and Melody only grinned, a look that was ridiculously sexy and wicked as his blood continued to drip down her chin.

"Because a) it's what I want, and I always get what I want - most of the time, b) I could very easily call for backup and my companions are a hell of a lot more powerful than I am and c) I'm your ticket out of here and if you piss me off, I can very easily leave you behind as I suspect the Salvatore's did. So choose wisely."

The boys' jaw tensed with rage that bubbled beneath his blue eyes that looked almost grey in that moment.

"You're smarter than you look," he admitted and Melody smirked as she flipped her hair over her shoulder, uncaring of the blood that was still on her hand, her outfit was already ruined and she doubted her hair was in any better of a state.

"I get that from my mother, but I have my father's temper. He doesn't get angry often but when he does, it's a sight to behold as his enemies flee with fear. So, why don't we start with your name, Mr magic sucker?"

His eyes were still glaring daggers at her as he followed her as she moved to sit down on a chair behind him.

Tilting his head to the side as the vein in his neck tensed, the boy tried to swallow his rage as he answered because he knew that the girl in front of him was the best chance he had at getting out of this hellish prison.

"My name is Kai Parker," he started, face still contorted with anger.

"So, Kai Parker, tell me a story," she said as she crossed her legs eagerly and looked up at him from her small sofa. "Why are you here?"

Seeing as she wasn't going anywhere, anytime soon - there was something about her eyes. Kai couldn't get over it. He wanted to know what it was. What it was about her eyes that helped drain the anger from him as he realized that she wasn't going anywhere and sat down on the sofa opposite her.

And so, he told her everything.

Everything about the Gemini and how he merged with his brother who wasn't his twin only for his twin to give him her magic. And when it was revealed that he'd inherited emotions after merging with his brother, the Salvatore's used him for their own gain and then locked him back up in here.

He'd also explained how he'd seen the very same photo album that her cousin had burned, which was how he knew of the Mikaelson's.

Melody had never lost that look of interest once. She listened to everything he had to say and she never gave him a look of pity. In fact, the look she gave him was almost as if she was proud of him for enduring all of that.
