A distant sound of the television playing in the background- Arhm it's been reported that around 20 people are affected with-

A girl frustratedly switches off her television and ties her hair into a bun and walks out of her house to go to her college.
Sana!!!!
She turns her head back at the voice and sees her bestfriend Meeti calls for her.

Sana smiles and says- WHATS up?
Meeti looks at her very seriously and says- You know that people are getting so infected and-
Sana rolls her eyes and says- As if !
Sana- You know right that's it's stupid. We are getting late let's go.
Meeti sighs and whispers.. It's not. The end is near.

Sana and Meeti sits in the lecture and as Sana takes notes Meeti looks at her phone with outmost stress.
Half of the day goes like is as Sana sits in the library along with Meeti completing her work just when they hear an announcement.. rather a panicked one.
ATTENTION STUDENTS, EVERYONE HAS TO LEAVE THE COLLEGE RIGHT NOW AND RUN TO THEIR HOMES... THEY ARE COMING... THE CITY IS GETTING AFFECTED WAY FASTER AND JUST... JUST... BE SAFE... RUNNN- AAAAAH.

Within a second they hear screams and people running, the quiet library wasn't quiet anymore.
Horrified Meeti holds Sana's hand and said- WE HAVE TO RUN SANA!
Sana looks at her shocked as they run out pushing people past.
Sana's eyes wideneds as she sees the horrifying image in front of her eyes- people were getting infected.. they were getting-
aaaaah!
Sana jumped as she felt someone behind her, Meeti looked back and took out a knife and stabbed it at the person.

They ran to Meeti's house which was near the college and they Lock the door properly.
Sana and Meeti falls on the floor panting and scared.
Sana- I never thought.. this would happen.
Meeti looked at sana and said- It- It did happen. The city is slowly turning into zombies, it's real sana. I have been researching about it since so long.
Meeti quickly switches on the television and they see horrifying images of people turning into zombies.
She switched it off and holds her head while Sana and pats her back.
They tried to call their parents who were in the other City working but didn't pick up.
Sana- I- I just hope they are okay.

Meeti burst out crying and said- This all wasn't meant to happen. All this, I thought after covid humans would stop experimenting things but now these. I thought we all learnt our lesson but this! We had so much to do, we decided to graduate, get married, go and see the world but now us even surviving is a big thing.
Sana slumped down and nodded.

Sana wiped her tears and said- But we will still fight this all.. together! Like we always did! Um.. think of this as our maths exams which we thought we could never survive but we did.
We can do this meeti! Trust me.
Meeti smiled a little and said- I want to show you some things.
She held her hand and dragged her to a dark room and switched on the lights making Sana gasp.
The room was filled with different weapons.
Meeti- I was always sure this would happen so I researched and got many weapons which could kill them.
Meeti- If by any chance we need to get on our survival mode carry some of these with you.
Sana- I won't be going without you-
Meeti- Just in case sana!
