Vienna's eyes felt as though they were sewn together by copper wire.

She could feel them slowly peeling apart, the haziness of the world finally welcomed her back. Her mouth, drier than parchment, as though she had swallowed a cup of sand left her tongue stuck to the roof of it and her throat pained when she attempted to swallow air.

A small ripple of breeze tickled at the side of her neck, waking her up a little bit barely. The world and its atmosphere had completely toppled itself on its axis.

Her eyes still felt stuck closed but she could feel the cold breeze on her skin, and could hear shouting and fighting. She was here, alive, but she still felt so far away, as her body lay still on a cold hard surface.

The world felt as though it fell out of its circuit around the sun and became lost in the space of darkness and blistering cold.

The side of her head throbbed. A sharp pain in her ribs, hips and back. And her legs felt as though they had pulled every muscle in them.

She noticed that it was slightly damp. Sweat or blood — neither pulled her out in shock. She was frozen. Unable to move in an oblivion of painful silence.

Not even the warm tickling against her neck seized her awake.

Then, the yelling had stopped. Then hands were on her body.

It was Draco. His voice was so loud yet so far away. Like something, evil was trying to pull her away. Take her into that darkness and consume her with death. But she was fighting against it. Trying to move her limbs, and open her eyes, but she couldn't. Not even make a finger twitch.

"No, no, no, no, no," she heard his voice stammer.

"Stay with me," his words continued, desperate and pleading.

Then, she felt her body rise and his hands cradled her. Then she saw nothing. Felt nothing. And the darkness swallowed her whole.

Her mind was a maze of confusion. As though a forest of questionable trees clouded her
thoughts. Blue spewing leaves of crispiness and ice, she couldn't pinpoint the direction of
events that had occurred .

Vienna's head still throbbed, tremendously. And the gouge didn't help lining everything in
order. If anything it worsened the whole lot.

As her eyes ever so slowly opened and closed, attempting to awaken, she heard a constant beeping and murmuring of whispering, voices.

She no longer felt the warm blood trickling down her face or neck. She no longer felt death trying to take her away. And now she was laying on a soft, comfortable surface, instead of a hard, cold one.

She saw white, blurry white as her eyes managed to open. She felt her nerves and veins kick back in and she was able to move her fingers. Her fingers which she realised someone was holding.
