Draco let himself smirk, but it was more of a huff of laughter than anything. Lilith was right, he was supposed to be dead as well and Draco wasn't quite sure how to respond or how to react to Vienna's dead mother standing in front of him.

His eyes were red and dark from how badly he had been crying only moments ago and his tears were dried on his cheeks and yet Draco still managed to look threatening.

"Does she know you're alive?" Draco asked, referring to Vienna.

"She does," Lilith responded, her eyes darting behind Draco and to her daughter, "I take it you two haven't had a catch-up yet?"

Draco almost chuckled, she had that sarcastic humour Vienna had.

"No, not yet," Draco answered, "I wasn't supposed to come back yet."

"How come?" Lilith questioned curiously.

"None of your business," Draco said and he didn't mean for it to be so aggressive.

Lilith only smiled, "I like you."

"Why?"

"Because I can tell you would do anything for my daughter," Lilith answered and Draco swallowed. She couldn't have been more right about anything.

"I have and I will continue to do so," Draco looked Vienna's mother up and down. Not because he was judging her but because he was admiring her. He knew where Vienna got her looks from, that mysterious beauty about her, she got it from her mother.

Lilith smiled and then she looked back to Vienna, "where are the people who did this to her?"

"One has a knife in his head and the other is at the police station," Draco said dangerously and casually.

Lilith raised her brows and closed her eyes, proudly. And in no way did she act scared or shocked and Draco hadn't expected her to. Not when she was the mother to the most insane and sexiest girl he knew.

"Who is the alive one?" Lilith asked.

"Hermione Granger," Draco told her.

"And will she be dead soon?" Lilith asked.

Draco smiled, "what do you think?"

"Good," Lilith said and then reached into her bag, "can I see my daughter now, please?"

Draco tensed his jaw and then moved the side, allowing her mother to go to Vienna. It was clear Lilith wasn't a threat but Draco still kept his eyes on her.

"My poor angel," Lilith muttered as she gently stroked Vienna's cheek.

"Do you know why they did this to her?" She asked Draco.

"I don't but I will find out," He assured Lilith, "Vienna and Hermione never got along but I never thought Hermione and her friends would do something like this. Vienna always scared them away."
