Mommy me and Grams were all at the spa
Getting all doll up for mommy's and momma's bridal shower on Saturday. Their were no kids allowed
I never fully understood why weren't children invited
Mommy said it's a bunch of women talking about different things that we aren't supposed to hear, she didn't go into specific details. But l kinda got an idea
I was sitting in the chair getting ready to get my toes done
Mommy who was sitting beside me, had her feet in the water soaking. I see Grams at the table having her nails polish, l love coming to the nail spa with mommy
We usually go to lunch afterwards. I'm not sure what the plan is after we leave here, l hope my baby sister is having fun with mama. she was kinda sad the other day when we got back from our outing, we have a unspoken code between us when one of us is feeling down. We comfort the other, even though Ariana is four years old and l'm eight going on nine. I can always pick up on her emotions without her telling me, l know it has something to do with mama not spending time with her. I try not to get in the middle, l remember before she came along l got jealous when my mom's paid her more attention than me,

I hear them calling out my name l just tuned out their voices and fell asleep in my closet until they found me sleeping holding my america girl doll, eventually l came around and I enjoyed being a big sister helping mommy out with Ariana. I knew that l couldn't be selfish anymore
Mommy loved us both, she sat me down and explained things to me in a way that l could understand. She told me
