Here l am at the San Francisco county club we're Stef and I are being honored tonight. My mother came along with us
I have to admit Addison surely out done herself
When I say she knows how to throw a party, even though I'm still pretty pissed at her. My love is sitting beside me holding my hand, some of my friends are here from my here from college. Some of them l haven't seen in years
The waiter are going around the room serving our guest
While me and Stef sit here patiently waiting our turn
The table across from us were filled with ton of gifts
We had our own table we're we were sitting at.
There's a open an bar in the corner, l'm looking over at the menu of the food we were. I see baked chicken green beans, macaroni and cheese, freshly baked salmon
All types of salads, fried chicken breast swedish meatballs
Vegetable medley. Baby l'm gonna go and use the restroom Stef says to me, okay babe hurry back
Lena said to her wife to be. She gives me a peck on the lips
I see my mom eyeing us, she's never seen Stef and I show affection in public. I feel my face turn red, mommy what is that look for Lena asks Dana, l've never seen like this before she says to me. What do you mean Lena inquired
Honey your in love with her any blind man can see that
I can see she looks at you like your father use to before we first got together. Plus she's better than that last woman you dated, Lena rolled her eyes by the mention of ex girlfriend. Mother you do know we have children together

I just wanted to meet the woman who was bad mouthy things about my daughter that weren't true. I was calm and straight to the point Dana replies. The server came over and sat our meal on to the table in front of us
Stef came back over and sat back down next to me
What took you so long coming back Lena asks Stef
Oh l'm sorry baby l ran into Mariah on my way back from the bathroom. She was telling me about The Live entertainment that supposed to arrive after dinner
Stef explains. What l say to Stef yeah Addison said she hired a Dj for the night, their having it in the ball room down the hall Stef told me. She probably feels guilty about what transpired in Los Vegas, l don't think Mariah knows she was talking to another woman that wasn't her wife
Lena thinks to herself. Everybody was having a good time
The banquet hall had over two hundred people, l look over and see Teddy and Alex speaking another couple
I was so deep in thought l didn't hear Stef say my name
What did you say honey Lena turns her attention to Stef,
Alex needs to keep Teddy away from the bar Stef whispers in my ear. My mother who was still eating her food
I took a sip of my white wine, that the waiter brought over, Stef was drinking club soda cause she was driving
I don't fucking believe it Stef States down low Teddy's sitting at the bar having a shot of tequila and Alex isn't around to witness this. Can I have everyone attention please for just a few minutes, l know some of you are still having dinner. We're expecting some live music momentarily down in the ball room in the next hour or so
Addison tells everyone, the waiting staff begins to come around collecting dirty dishes from everyone's table placing them in a square bin. They had a variety of different desserts, of course Lena couldn't have any
That didn't stop Stef from getting a slice of strawberry cheesecake with Gram cracker crust. Stef told Lena it was sugar free, Stef brought over two pieces to share with her beautiful finance. Who was were a nice  black dress with spaghetti straps, that showed off her tone body the sliver necklace and bracelet  that went well with Lena's long gown. Lena had on six inch heels that matched her accessories, l took a bite of the sugar free strawberry cheesecake. It was okay but Lena's was better
Since she was experience pastry chef, she knew how to make all kind of amazing deserts from scratch. Love how's your dessert Lena asked me, a little dry if l'm being honest but yours better Stef answers. I hear Dana chucking, mom what's so funny Lena asked her mother
The woman over at the bar sweetheart she seems like she can't hold her liquor Dana States. Stef turns her head
to see what her mother in law is referring to, l see Teddy making a complete fool out of herself once again, like she did in Los Vegas. I won't let her ruin our bridal shower
Lena is trying to hold her laugh in, l just shake my head at Teddy's foolishness. I see Alex taking Teddy out of the room, l feel for Alex her wife can't go without getting trash. Most of our friends are making their way to the ball room down the hall, Addison comes over to and tell us the Entertainment has arrive. Thank you so much for the bridal shower we really appreciate everything you've done for us Lena said nicely, Lena your best friend and I would do anything for you and Stef. Plus I take my maid of honor duty seriously, l had to tell Alex to take her wife home because she was embarrassing herself and acting a fool again l don't get why she continues to show out in public. Addison tells us, trust me we weren't paying her any mind Stef says. This is supposed to be a celebration
