Finally home! So here's the last chapter of today (Maybe) to celebrate! As well as a bonus fun fact.

Fun Fact 1: Nyx is my favorite character to draw because her style is fairly simple (Solid color, tight fitted) and really easy for me

Fun Fact 2: Poltergeist can't eat normal food very well, so he eats a lot of junk food and only occasionally eats something healthy (And again, he is a self-insert meaning this is inspired by an aspect of my life, I can't eat anything very well because I feel nauseous)

Age update: Kai is 13

*The asshole from the last chapter

'Hey! Uh, Kai.' Hari called.

'Hm? Yeah, what's up?' He asked. They were now 13 and in Tokyo International Progressive School. *Unfortunately, the kid who bullied Kai and always made him want to kill himself attended too.

Hari held out a book. 'Uh, here.' Kai was confused but took it.

'It's empty.' He said, flipping through the pages.

'I know, it's supposed to be like that. It's an exchange diary.' Hari chuckled, 'It's so we can write notes to each other since you don't have a phone.'

'Oh, how do they work?'

'Basically, I write a note, give it to you, then you write a note and give it back.'

Kai nodded, seemed simple enough. 'So do you want to write one first?' Hari nodded and Kai handed the book back.

'I'll give it back at the end of the day.' Hari blushed. Why was he acting so odd?

'Eh,' Kai thought, 'It's not like this is the first time, I've seen worse.'

Hari smiled, 'Oh yeah, Kai if your father lets you, do you wanna go to Sakaki's Bakery with Nemoto and me?'

Kai hummed, 'I can ask... But I doubt Father will be very happy with me going around with 'Useless people'.'

'Useless?' Hari asked, slightly offended.

Kai brushed Hari's hair back behind his ear. Usually, he had it in a ponytail to keep it out of his face but today he couldn't find a hair tie. 'You're not useless to me Hari. If I'm being honest...' Kai looked at his hands, 'I would've killed myself a while ago if I didn't know you were supposed to be in my future. You're the only reason I'm still alive, so I think you're useful.'

Of all the reactions that Kai could imagine, Hari impulsively hugging him while crying wasn't one of them. Slapping him and yelling, yes, getting mad and walking away, sure, straight up ignoring him, number three on his list. But hugging him and begging for him to not die didn't even cross his mind.

'Kai... Please don't. Please don't die. You can't die on me. You were the first person to care about me. You can't die, you can't please.' Hari begged.

Kai teared up as well, why did Hari want him to live so badly? Why did he need him alive? Hari was the only reason Kai wanted to live, that's why Kai needed Hari, but Kai probably didn't amount much in Hari's life.

But still, Hari cried and begged for Kai to live. He had already decided Hari was the reason he wouldn't kill himself, but he'd say it out loud for him. 'I won't, but keep in mind this is only for you. You'll be the reason I stay alive, okay?'

Hari cried into Kai's uniform jacket, 'I don't care why you live I just want you to live. I need you.' Hari wanted so desperately to tell him how he felt, but Kai wouldn't understand. And the last thing he wanted was to confuse him right now. 'Please don't die.' He said, 'Please, I love you, Kai.'
