Kai drank his smoothie after he finished eating, the smoothie numbed his throat, which helped the pain a lot.
'Chisaki-San?'
'Yes?'
'I'm sorry to bother you when you just had visitors, but about your scars..?' The doctor said, 'If anything I ask is too personal please tell me, but I would like to ask a few questions.'
Kai took the last bite of his rice and nodded.
'Right, so those scars on your back, mind telling me where they're from?' She asked, sitting down.
'Oh... Well, those are from my sparring matches with All for One's High-End Nomus. They knocked me into the walls a lot.'
'I'm sorry you sparred against who's whats?'
'All for One's-'
'No no, I'm sorry I heard you the first time it's just... Your father worked for All for One?'
'All for One worked for my Father.' Kai corrected, surprising the doctor. 'They Nomus me hurt a lot when they hit me, so I have a lot of scars on my back. Poltergeist said that as long as I keep pressure off them and put the salve he gave me on once a day they should be fine and stay closed.'
'Poltergeist?'
'He was my caretaker...' Kai teared up, 'Before... Before Father killed him. He was nice to me, and he cared about me. I trusted him, but I'll never see him again.'
Sukiou hesitated before changing the subject. 'Okay and your arms and legs?'
Kai flinched, 'Um... Pass, please.' The doctor asked if there was someone else he could ask or if he'd rather wait until he was ready to talk about it because this was something they needed to know. 'You could ask Hari.'
'Hari?'
'He's my boyfriend.' Kai wiped his tears away, trying to forget about Poltergeist. 'I told him everything, a long time ago.'
'Alright, well I'll talk to him later. Now about those stitches?'
'Polter... Poltergeist did them, he said that it was to keep a problematic cut closed, he said he'd... He'd take them out. He was supposed to take them out today.' Kai cried, still trying his best to answer her.
'I see, well in that case we'll take them out instead, okay?'
'Okay.' Kai murmured.
'Can you talk to me about the scars on your hands and neck?'
'My hands are from overusing my quirk, my neck is from training where Circe once slit my throat. Poltergeist told me I died for a little while before Chronos rewound me.'

Kai tried to think and give her a clear answer but he had lost count years ago. 'I'm not sure, I'm sorry.'
'It's okay, is there anyone else I can ask?'
'I know Chronos kept count so your best bet would be to ask him.' Kai explained. 'But he might not wanna talk right now so I'd rather you wait and give him some time.'
'This kid is really concerned about his abusers? The same people who cut him open and used his blood to create bullets? Strange.' The doctor smiled, trying to look reassuring. 'Do you have any other injuries I should know about?'
Kai thought for a minute before he lifted his shirt. The doctor gasped and dropped her clipboard, covering her mouth.
There was a scar going up his chest and spine starting at his hip. It looked like he had been electrocuted and the veins scarred instead of the skin. 'This was from one of my Caretakers. His name was Zeus, he electrocuted me whenever I was bad. I got this when I was eight. It still hurts sometimes.'
He then rolled up his sleeve and there was a burn mark in the shape of a Pitchfork on his forearm, 'And this is from when father branded me. He said I needed to learn who I belonged to so he gave me this.' He pulled down the hem of his shirt to reveal the top of another pitchfork. 'I have one on my chest too, but that wasn't a burn, Father carved that into my chest with a knife.'
The doctor trembled, how could he talk so casually about this? Did he not feel any pain with them? He said the first scar still hurt, but what about the other two? What did they do to this child?
