There was loud banging now and again. So Phantom Arrow was fighting... 'Hey Cipher.'
'Yeah, what's up?' She asked. It was taking much longer to replenish her energy than normal. Even after two monsters and an energy drink she still felt tired.
'Why are you here?' Zeus asked, 'Other than saving Kai.'
'Our main goal is to save Kai, but Endeavor also wants to make sure there are no other victims.'
'Oh god, there are. But some died recently.'
'Who all died?' Cipher asked, she felt bad for all the victims they didn't know about that died.
'Manticore was killed by lethal injection for her crimes. Siren was slashed to death fighting a villain. Cupid and Eros are going to die if you don't get and defuse the bombs hidden in their jackets. Delphi died from Tuberculosis cause he was a fricken Anti-Vaxer. And Hippogriff is currently dying of starvation in The Hole because the Boss forgot about her and we can't bring her out without his permission.'
Zeus sneered, 'And if you heroes fail to save him, Kai's going to die too.'

The shadows in the area made it extremely easy to attack Phantom Arrow, he'd like to say it made it easy to fight him but the hero was fast. He couldn't land a hit.
'Ugh, it's so dark I can hardly see anything!' Terugo stomped. 'Oh, I got it!' He ran off somewhere into the darkness. Phantom Arrow lost track of him, and that worried him.
As much as he doubted Terugo would be much of a threat he didn't want Terugo to be out of sight for too long. 'Fuck where'd he-' Phantom Arrow's thoughts were cut off as Chronos cried out as he covered his eyes. The lights came on, one by one making a loud banging sound each time. 'Where the fuck did he get these lights Hollywood?'
'Chronos!' Poltergeist yelled, running towards him.
'Hm, so villains like them can care for each other.' Phantom Arrow asked, taking the opportunity to attack them, 'I'll make sure to keep that in mind fighting other villains. Thanks, you two.'
He made sure to knock Chronos out first. He didn't trust that he couldn't rewind him out of existence. So he was one of the more dangerous members.
Kai flinched, he had never seen anyone land a hit on Chronos before. But his eyes had very much adjusted to the darkness after waiting for god knows how long, so the sudden light did temporarily blind him.
Kai was freaking out, he was so scared. What was going to happen if they lost? Would he be punished? Killed? His hands began hurting a little and his head was aching. He wanted it to stop, he was so sacred. And even if they won what would happen to the group? Would they be disbanded? Arrested? Where would he live or would he be arrested too for all the people he's killed?
And Eri, if he wasn't arrested would he have to hurt her? He didn't want to hurt her. He didn't want to hurt anyone. Why did they keep trying? He was so scared. The pain just kept getting worse.
