Kai kept his eyes closed, his hands hurt. They hurt so bad. He didn't know why. He was wearing his gloves, the ones specifically made to block his quirk. What was happening?
Cipher and Phantom Arrow were fighting with Dionysus. He knew Atlas was coming soon too. And his father was just standing off to the side, laughing and cheering on Dionysus. 'Whoo! Kill them! Kill them!' He cheered.
'It hurts... It hurts...' He propped himself up on the tatami, he would've fallen over if he didn't. 'It hurts so bad.' He cried.
'Stop complaining, The woman and Phantom Arrow are fighting Dionysus. And Burnin is bleeding out. Your pain isn't that bad.'
His hand felt a bit colder. 'Hm? Ah!' His gloves had ripped. Cipher looked over, but saw no one and got back to fighting.
Poltergeist was the only one in the group who could turn invisible so she knew that no one grabbed him. Though she did wonder what was wrong.
If his gloves ripped then they wouldn't work. Overhaul could activate. He hated it, why did he need it. Overhaul was a curse, that's what his father said. Every single day. 'I always have to get my hands dirty because you're a selfish brat. I always have to get my hands dirty because of your curse.'
'You know how this goes, stay with that man too much longer and you'll kill him.'
'Someone else is about to die because of you!'
He remembered his father's words. He was so scared. And now his gloves ripped. He was going to kill someone. Someone else was going to die. And it'll be all his fault. It's always his fault.
He stood up and made sure not to touch anything, but his hands felt a lot colder now.
Overhaul activated. His gloves were entirely gone. Normally Poltergeist would use the nullifier, but well... Now he couldn't. If that didn't work Chronos would rewind him to when he wasn't using it. 'Help me... Help me please.'
Kai cried and fell to his knees, still making sure to not touch anything.
'What's wrong with-' Cipher gasped, she couldn't move her foot. Her left foot of all feet. 'Heh?!'
'Atlas! I could handle this!'
'Could you?' The man said.

Kai kept backing away until he hit a wall, he couldn't let Dionysus touch him. If he did he would die. He didn't want anyone to die.
