Phantom asked if Cipher could handle herself for a little while. 'Yeah, I got it, the thing my mind is coming up with isn't very big but it is complicated as heck. My familiar-'
'I'm sorry I know what you're trying to do but I need to know what are you talking about you have a familiar?!' Terugo smiled.
'A mental familiar he doesn't have a physical body but he's there helping me create things. Working out kinks and shit.'
Cipher continued to distract them until she heard a crash, 'Goddamnit why must you be fast!?'
Phantom grabbed Kai and simply moved him to a different building. One without any high walls to block out the fight, but he'd be safe here.
'What was that crash?!' Cipher yelled.
'That was Helios' quirk, it's called Sunray or something. She stores energy from the sun and configures it into fireable energy. It's like Cupid and Eros' lust but with the sun. And she more flicks the energy than finger guns.' Chronos explained. 'I'm the main doctor of the group so it's kinda my job to know these things.'
'Makes sense.' Cipher backed up, 'Hey Phantom! Catch!' A metal rod formed in her hand, and she threw it to Phantom Arrow.
'Is this the thing you took so long to make?! This?!'
'It's a knockback rod! Like from Minecraft Bedwars on Hypixel! Hit someone with it it knocks 'em back ten meters!' She made one for herself, 'Holding it reverses the effects of other quirks! It makes you immune to telepathy, I know you can handle yourself, so give it to Kai! If you need it I'll make you a new one!'
'If you bring him down I'll give you money!' Terugo yelled.
'No thanks!' Phantom gave the rod to Kai, 'Use it if someone grabs you, don't watch.' Kai nodded, he wouldn't watch. He didn't want anyone to be mad at him, so he'd obey.
He was scared, could he really hit someone with this? It sounded like it would really hurt. He worried and worried until he realized something. The rod... It wasn't being destroyed. It hadn't even cracked. It was completely intact.
If he were anyone else, he might've smiled. But he didn't, all he could do was cry. Finally after 12 years something he couldn't destroy.
But was his quirk disabled? He slowly reached out and touched the banister, it didn't even take a second for it to blow apart.
He yelped and just kept his hands on the rod. It felt better to touch something again. But he felt bad for destroying the railing. He felt awful anytime he destroyed something. 'I'm sorry. I'm sorry.' He cried.
Cipher panted, exhausted. Chronos had just been launched back into a wall. Terugo was laughing and cheering on his minions. Helios was recovering from her short battle with Phantom Arrow. And Endeavor was currently on his way to help them out.
