Hated Truth

Like a summer breeze,
It made me feel calm,
Lonely though it tried,
It tried to touch my heart.
I made a promise to smile,
I am trying hard to keep it,
Looking forward to something,
Something happening.
I know it might become too hard,
But perhaps I have seen worst,
It is more like a dance,
On a slippery yet beautiful rainny afternoon.
When the sun shines through the clouds,
My hand in yours and looking above,
Talking to every possible choice I could've made,
And glad I chose the one that silently led me to you.

But things like the best moments,
Don't last too long, for too long.
I miss you every time that makes me think of you.
Happiness then seems like a distant dream.
No map could ever lead me to that destination,
Which we dreamed of together,
Thought that we over there we could build our castle.
All the scattered dreams and their echoes,
Remain on the pages of my diary like regrets.
I look at the reflections of these hated truths,
I wish they would change, these hated truths.
