All the magic faded away,
The past was where it would stay,
I tried falling in love again,
And made all the same past mistakes.
The first step I took was cursed,
No matter how I looked at the hurt,
It became just so clear everyday,
I tried to fall in love with the versions of you, that you've never lived.
All the love we had walked away,
So many things to pay homage,
I tried to sort things yet again,
And tangled them once more today.
The entire truth I knew we had,
Was like an echo of dreams so sad,
It became just so clear one more time,
I tried to fall in love with the version of you, you never had in this life.
All the sincere apologies are dead,
The pages in my diary bleed everyday,
I tried to write everything down today,
And yet not a single word could make it.
The possibilities we loved back then,
Became chains to tie me down this time,
