Worlds coming crashing down,
Everything transformed to nothingness,
Every single memory now,
Is nothing more than reflecting darkness.
The happiness once was a ray of light,
Now have been snatched away from us,
We deserved this all along,
For playing games with the innocent.
The sky cries to our wisdom,
And punishes us for our decisions,
We made an entire era within us,
And destroyed dynasties with our thirst.
Whom should we apologize?
Whom should we kneel in front of?
Will we ever be forgiven,
For we took lives without thoughts.
It was perhaps an obsession all along,
The throne dazzled in the blood of the long gone,
We painted ourselves red with pride,
And now here we watch it burn.
