New town

The sky never looked so soothing,
As if it is dropping hints,
Asking me to pick them up,
As I keep on walking.
The sky never seemed so friendly,
The blue background and soft clouds,
Like careless strokes of oil pastels,
On the hopeful pages of the book.
The sky never felt this way,
Like it has a story to tell,
Asking and begging me to listen,
To every complaint it's has been holding.
In this new town, smiles seem diffrent,
Although I came a long way till here,
No one seems to appreciate the fate,
Why are they not so happy here?
At last the sky is just like a ceiling,
To the bedroom of my dreams,
I try making sense of the floating clouds,
Trying to find the reason for the emptiness.
But this town doesn't seem welcoming,
Should I just turn around and walk away?
I am in a sloppy dilemma,
And I probably am just ignoring my way.
