Like a melody that I can't seem to get right,
Like the echoes of me mesmerizing the dark,
Things just started to fall apart,
When I was just reaching out for your heart.
Voices became loud we had nothing to say though,
Struggling as we tried to get our words through.
Emotions once flowing smooth like a river,
Now have brutally got stagnant.
Hollow shapes and hollow fears,
Smiles just faking the unreal happiness,
What stage did we come to?
Why did we have to become this?
Just when I wanted to love you,
Loving you felt like a curse to me.
Your indifferent face and cold stare,
Your heart is faraway, and I can't hold it.
