A dining table with little smiles,
Worries would be shared over a pie,
Talks about the next day of life,
I dream of building a family like that.
Not much to hate and resent,
All the awesome stories would be shared,
And more than anything, there is fate,
I want to hold onto my family for that.
Songs singing and a guitar session,
Talking about the days of ice and skates,
A table full of accomplishments,
Little occasions to celebrate.
A place with only smiles and love,
So many things to share and take,
Stories highlighting the end of the day,
What would that kind of family look like?
