I remember smiling all carefree,
Weaving dreams as if I own them,
Parts and peices of stories,
That I wanted to decorate on pages.
But chances are miracles,

I learnt this lesson the hard way,
Trying to make sense of my insanity.
Sometime long back in my memory,
I clinged to love for happiness,
Realised that love was going to hurt a lot,
It won't ever become an easy game.
It would always be a ruthless gamble,
No fairytale paints to paint the sparkle,
For sometime after that realization,
My smile seemed to have disappeared.
