Like a perfectly wrapped gift,
Your smile reflects your heart.
But who would've know that you are,
someone with chains and ropes.
You are the beautiful poetry I could read,
Against the blue background of your life,
But you painted me purple,
My favorite yet depressed outright.
You said my words for me,
You did everything you could,
But the ribbons around heart,
Did they always have the hurt they gave.
Pain in my heart and pain in my eyes,
The tears roll out of my desperate desire.
To hold on to the good memories of life,
That you easily let go at the beginning.
