Billy was written to go through all that,
The cruelty of wars and hate around him,
For life would never have come easy,
For someone who had a purpose to fulfill.
Time kept on flowing ahead and ahead on its own,
No one to question the course of all the hurt,
The sky that he looked up to once,
Now was filled with smoke and terror.
But there was a chance at life he was given,
Billy was lucky to go to the time he loved dreaming,
To the time where life could have never been easier,
He was fortunate enough to have gotten that chance to relive all those years.
The wars he saw as a witness were difficult,
People around never even once seemed people,
For everyone was painted as either a friend or enemy,
The world around was decided to be something of a play field.
The powers would have a will to conquer something,
At the cost of sacrifice of someone as a chess peice,
Billy was a witness to all those cruelties,
One more chance at life meant that he could rewrite that story.
