The door has closed, it is me and you.
Your house and I stayed back,
My heart is going to reveal everything,
All of my feelings that I've been hiding.
They left, they know nothing,
About you and me and us,
It feels like sacred blessing,
This secret worths so much.
You have passed out on your couch,
I try to find a reason to stay sane,
The party got over a long time ago,
But I just stayed here for name sake.
I know I will be doing nothing much,
Just thinking of all the possibilities,
To answer you when you get up,
And try to weave my confession story.
They cheered me as they left me,
The party ended on that note for them,
But for me, I was nervous the whole time,
Thinking of all the ways to say.
That would you like to hold my hand,
Skate across this bumpy life,
Find metaphors and meanings,
To the time that passes us by?
I wish to know what you would say,
I am nervous, excited and even more scared,
Hope the letter of my heart reaches to you,
The confetti fallen around, party has ended.
