Julie lay sprawled on the floor of the human hang out area, staring up at the ceiling as she listened to some of the more self destructive Citizen Soldier music with a woojer vest on.

She'd been getting so much better! Why had she crashed so suddenly?

Jamie trudged into the room looking depressed as well. The usually high energy boy looked up at the bots. "Hey guys. What are you all staring at?"

"What's going on today?" Arcee asked

"Lemmie guess. Julie crash?" Jamie asked

"Yeah.... How did you know?" Bulkhead asked

"Tomorrow is the anniversary that our dad died." Jamie stated

Realization dawned on the Autobots.

"Are you going to be okay?" Crosshairs asked

"Yeah. It's rough." Jamie replied. He walked up the stairs and pulled the headphones away from Julie's ear "Did you schedule an emergency session?"

Julie held up her phone and pointed to the text chat labeled Miss Fowler.

"Okay. You gonna be good? Want anything to eat or drink?" Jamie asked.

Julie thought for a long while before switching chats and texting Jamie.

The boy laughed as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and took a look. "I'll see what I can do. Okay? You just hang tight."

Later that day, Julie was in a therapy session while the Autobots were out on an Energon retrieval mission.

June brought a huge box of old photos, cassette tapes, dvds and all sorts of other things inside it up to the kids hang out area.

"Hey Jack. Help me sort out all this will you?"

"Sure mom. What is it?"

"Stuff I saved from Karen's rampages over the years. While Julie is at her therapy session I thought I'd do my bit and restore some photos and home videos to give to her." June replied

"Wait seriously?" Jack immediately got up and came over to start helping his mother.

June hummed thoughtfully "I know the three of them own the house in Jasper together, Julie has property out in Oregon while Jamie has some in SoCal and Lizzie got all their dad's New York properties. But collectively they own about half of Jasper."

"That doesn't exactly surprise me." Jack sighed.

June shook her head sadly "Jasper was dying out until Tommy came to town. The least we can do is help preserve his memory for his kids."

"Yeah. I know Julie is missing him real bad." Jack agreed.

"Let's get to work. We'll sort first and frame photographs later." June set the box down

Later some of the bots came back from scouting for energon to see Ratchet and the humans working together on something. The large screens had clips of a man and three children playing.

"I have managed to uncorrupt another video." Ratchet stated.

"What is it! Let's see!" Miko exclaimed as she put down a picture frame and came running over to the railing to get a good look.

The returning group, Wheeljack among them, walked over to get a better look.

"What's going on Ratchet?" Arcee asked

"Nurse Darby managed to recover sentimental items of Julie's over the years. The flash drive was heavily corrupted. Rafael and I have been working together to try and fix it so they can give Julie and Jamie back the things that they lost because of their step mother."

One of the new clips that had been restored opened up and it was Julie, Jamie and a group of kids in a garage with a bunch of instruments. The man behind the camera laughed.

::What are you kids doing now? Jitterbug did you get those out of the attic?!::

Julie beamed at the camera so brightly she put the sun to shame. She was clearly years younger than she was now. ::Yep! We went exploring in the attic again Daddy! We've started a band while you were away on your trip!::

Wheeljack stared at the image of her, she was so sad now in comparison to then. They'd never seen her smile that brightly.

The video of the kids continued to play and little Julie sang ABBA's "Thank You For The Music"

Bumblebee let out a sad little whirr.

As more videos cycled Jamie and Julie as Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer in their Freshman musical of Cats. An even older video of four children with Thomas cycled next, they were all so small compared to the man. It took a moment to realize that one of the kids was Jack.

"Look at how happy she is." Bulkhead said watching the video "Losing her dad really hurt her bad."

Wheeljack looked down at his pedes. He knew what that was like. His carrier raised him by herself, days it was just her and him against the world, his dad was a deadbeat and to his memory he never met the mech, and his older brother Crosshairs ran off whenever he got the chance. the prick was never home always out with his fucked up daredevil friends. But he didn't care about that all he cared about growing up was his mother. He worked so hard to become a skilled engineer and inventor so he could provide for her. He blew himself up on a regular basis trying to make new things during his downtime when he didn't have to work at the spaceport as an engineering technician. then a cosmic rust plague hit Cybertron. By the time they contained the outbreak it was too late. He'd lost his mother to the plague. He was never the same after that. More bitter, sarcastic and cynical. Not as enthusiastic about making new things anymore. Who would he show them to? He didn't have anyone left.

However since he met Julie he'd been falling back into the old quiet crazy inventor habits. She inspired him to build and make things again.

Julie and Jamie walked back into the main room as a new video was decoded and began playing.

::Jitterbug, Jazzy boy... if you're listening to this you've either been digging through my stuff which in that case get out and put it back, or I'm dead and I wasn't able to tell you some important things.:: Thomas' voice rang out.

The twins quickly sprinted over and stared up at the screen, too stunned to speak. It was their dad before he got sick.

::I just received the diagnosis that I have cancer so I'm making this... just in case. I am so very sorry that I never told you, but I adopted you both and Elizabeth. She already knows. You have every right to be angry with me but don't take it out on her. Understand that what I am about to tell you is highly classified. I was part of GI Joe, a secret and incredibly elite sect of the American military. We've been fighting a terrorist group called Cobra for decades and during those missions I found the three of you. Because of the nature of the circumstances in which I found you, I can not tell you everything but It doesn't stop you from tracing my steps back to your origins. So... I've set up one final scavenger hunt for each of you. You'll find your starting clues in the house, hidden in places Karen won't find them. Once you have them you need to head out of Jasper to this butte. It's an old military missile silo. Inside are the Autobots, an alien race of sentient machines. You'll need their help and protection. If they ask why... well... your journey will help them find a way to restore their dead homeworld. You two and your sister are the best thing to ever happen to me. I love you all with every fiber of my being. I wouldn't change anything. I will see you again. Till all are one.::
