After their little vacation in Rome Wheeljack and Julie were back on track and heading for Sicily.

They touched down at the coordinates because it was an already obscure and vacated area of the island. No one would notice the alien spacecraft sitting there.

"Okay Julie. What's the scroll say?" Wheeljack asked.

"Well. It's written in Mandarin.... It'll take me a few minutes but I'll be able to read what it says. I've been working at it since we got it."

Wheeljack nodded.

"Face the three headed beast's labyrinth and find your prize and the next written location within its claws..." Julie read "well that sounds inviting." She said sarcastically.

"Three headed beast?" Wheeljack questioned.

"That's what it says." Julie pointed to an illustration of a sleeping three headed hydra.

"Well then..." Wheeljack blinked.

"I know right? It's probably an ancient carving or statue or something to ward off the superstitious." She froze. "Fuck I sound like Milo Thatch. Be prepared in case it's some kind of Atlantean war machine."

"Are you makin' movie references again Julie?" Wheeljack asked, having understood absolutely none of what she'd just said.

"Yeah." She shrugged. "Atlantis the lost empire."

"Ah. One more movie to add to the list."

The two prepared themselves for the trek underground. Julie remained as a human and outfitted herself in a climbing harness and other kinds of spelunking gear used by people who liked investigating cave systems. She attached the go-pro to the side of her helmet and secured her backpack and rope to herself. She had enough MREs (Meal ready-to-eat) to last her for a few days just in case of emergency. And she had plenty of water for a while and a special filter straw thing in case she came across an underground water source so she could refill her water there.

The two disembarked from the ship and headed toward the hydra's labyrinth.

Once inside the cave system Wheeljack turned on a flashlight and Julie turned on her headlamp on her helmet.

"Sure is dark down here." Wheeljack whispered.

"It's a cave. What do you expect?" Julie retorted.

"Good point." He chuckled.

The two walked further into the caves on full alert when they suddenly heard a loud cracking noise and the cave floor under Julie gave way and she fell.

"Julianna!" Wheeljack shouted quickly looking down into the hole she had fallen in.

Julie landed hard twelve feet below. She groaned and sat up. "I'm fine!" Julie shouted up before looking around and standing.

"I'm coming down there to get you." Wheeljack stated

"No, don't! It's too small down here you'd never fit!" Julie told him.

"Then what do you suggest we do?" He asked.

"This network of caves connects and winds around. It goes on for miles looping back on itself. If we continue onward we're bound to find each other at some point. If not we can always come back to this point and you can fish me out later." She told him.

Wheeljack groaned. "Fine. But I'm still not so sure about this."

"Well... What if I..." Julie muttered

"Julie what are you up to?" Wheeljack asked.

She didn't reply. Instead she pulled her reliquary out of her shirt and tapped the small cylinder. She hadn't done much with it in the year that she had it now. She only knew that this was where Cliffjumper returned to when he wasn't out telling her to do something or yakking her ear off. "Excuse me. But... Would two of you be willing to help us?" She asked quietly, feeling somewhat silly. But hey. It was worth a try.
