One last try / Jenna Ortega

Chapter 4

Nobodies Pov:
(9:00 am)
As Leo was making his way to the back desks where Jenna waited for them Ria turned and questioned the dork, "how do y'all know each other?" she was curious, "oh we've been friends since elementary, we met when he stood up for me in recess" the dork smiled while feeling nostalgic

"that's nice is he always this quiet?" Ria continued interrogating, "yes they are but they're not weird or anything they just keep a low profile" the dork reasoned, "omg what's the gender!" Jess spoke up in frustration, "they're gender-fluid, all pronouns they don't mind" the dork nodded, "sick" Ria smiled.

(TW sharp objects/ slight blood)

Jenna's Pov:
he took a seat next to me and leaned his elbow against his desk, i resumed looking for the cutting tool, i whipped it out from underneath the desk and glanced at him, "do you wanna cut or should i?" i pondered looking at him trying to hide any reaction my face could make trying to seem uninterested, "do you want to?" he replied with a question slightly raising his eyebrow while he stared me down

"i don't mind" i gulped now taking my eyes off of them, "would you like to?" he rephrased, which made me think, "yes i would" i stated looking back at him then down to his lips, he gave me a subtle nod while pointing down at the frog allowing me to cut in, as i applied pressure onto the dead animals skin a certain fluid started to pop out on the surface, my eyes shot open as i dropped the cutting tool and took a step back

"you said the frogs we're dried out" i called out the teacher while slightly annoyed but shocked, "they are Jenna" she addressed, "no they're not" i proved while pointing at it with my hands slightly shaking, i don't like blood it makes me dizzy.

Nobodies Pov:
Leo bounced off his chair and ran towards the paper towels, grabbing a few then returning to their desk to clean up after he realized Jenna was uncomfortable, as he was scrubbing the desk as chill as ever he heard giggles across the room, they quickly picked their head up from the surface and stared towards the direction the giggles were coming from, he saw a group of 4 boys making fun of them and laughing

Jenna slowly returned to her seat after Leo had picked up most of it, "you think this is a game?" Leo spoke loudly while the teacher made her way over to their desk to examine the incident, "yo chill don't cry about it" one of the guys chuckled, "some people are sensitive to blood you moron" Leo fumed without breaking eye contact or changing his expression

"how is there blood in this frog?" the teacher muttered as she rushed over to the 4 boys and dragged the one making fun of them out of the class by his hand, "we're gonna solve this in the principals office" she whispered in his ear with an evil smile while dragging him out, everybody stared at the now 3 boys and Leo with Jenna, Leo took his seat next to Jenna as she was staring at them.

Jenna's Pov:
i stared him down completely out of it, the butterflies were racing from my chest down to the pit of my stomach and i had now started to feel tingles in my private area, oh my fucking god this is unreal, i couldn't get over the fact he stood up for me and their voice when they yell it's deeper and why am i noticing all of this, i knew that by now my face was as red as a tomato.

Nobodies Pov:
One of the 3 boys stood up with force making his chair fly back, he started stomping towards Leo and Jenna when he reached their desk he slammed both of his fists on their table with an angry look on his face, once again Leo was un phased and glancing at him but Jenna wasn't taking it so well, "what's your problem freak can you not take a joke?!" the boy started to yell at Leo while his veins popped out of the sides of his neck

he clearly couldn't care less that someone was yelling at him but Jenna had a problem with yelling, it triggered her a lot and she wasn't feeling safe at that point, her hand reached out to Leo's pants and she tugged on them without realizing what she's actually doing, when Leo turned to look at Jenna her face was in shock and she looked speechless which made Leo furious, but he didn't show it

Leo put his hands on the desk while he slowly rose up from his seat, "get, the fuck, out, of my face" Leo warned silently looking the boy dead in the eyes, "you stupid, ignorant piece of shit!" the boy continued to scream and since he wasn't listening and Jenna was even more frightened Leo grabbed the collar of the dudes shirt and picked him up swinging him on the other side of their desk where he fell on the floor and Leo climbed on him

Jenna's Pov:
Leo had just dragged a guy over our desk and was now pinning him down on the floor, i was so surprised of the outcome of this situation, i couldn't believe Leo had that kind of power, neither understand why he would do that, i mean sure it scares me when other people yell hysterically but what's his excuse? people started running over to our side of the class trying to get Leo off of this boy so then i joined

i slightly lifted Leo off of this guy he was fighting back to stand up until he realized i'm the one pulling him up and he finally gave in, he stood up quickly making me lose my balance and taking a few steps back while i held him, the boy had jumped and grabbed an unused cutting tool and took a jab at Leo injuring his right hand

"What the hell are y'all doing!!" the teacher trembled at the sight as she ran back into class standing between us, Leo's hand was cut, they boy had started to bruise around his neck and everyone looked shocked and out of breath, "Leo step out of class right now and compose yourself, Tanner come with me you will be joining your friend in the fucking office!" the teacher was fed up and grabbed the boy and dragged him out just like she did to his friend, i slowly let go of Leo looking up at him, he looked down at me with worried eyes before exiting the classroom, he's a very interesting person
