We carried our bags inside, the Prison to a cell block, it was dark but felt safer than nothing.

"What do you think?" Rick asked walking down the stairs.

"Home sweet home." Glenn grumbled.

"For the time being." Rick said.

"It's secure?" Lori wondered.

"This cell block is." Rick said.

"What about the rest of the Prison?" Hershel asked.

"In the morning, we'll find the cafeteria and infirmary." Rick explained.

"We sleep in the cells?" Beth questioned.

"I found keys on some guards. Daryl has a set, too." Rick said.

"I ain't sleeping in no cage. I'll take the perch." Daryl said.

———-

"Pretty gross." Beth said putting her bags down.

"Yeah, remember the storage units?" Carl said.

"Preferably not." I say.

"It's actually— its actually comfortable." Beth smiled sitting down on the bottom bunk. "Check it out."

"Did you two find your cell's yet?" Hershel asked Carl and I.

"Yeah, we were just making sure Beth was safe. See you tomorrow." Carl and I walked out.

"See you." Beth smiled.

—————

"I get top bunk." Carl said climbing up.

"That not far." I say.

"It's completely." He smiled.

I laughed and threw my stuff down then sat on the bed.

In the morning, Hershel, T-Dog, Rick, Glenn, Daryl and Maggie got ready to find the Prison.

I laughed at Carl as he put on a helmet that was too big and kept falling down.

"You won't need that." Rick said taking away a helmet from Carl. "I need you to stay put."

     "You're kidding." Carl said.

"We don't know what's in there. Something goes wrong, you could be the last man standing. I need you to handle things here." Rick told him.

    "Sure." Carl agreed.

"Great. Let's go." Rick said as they left.

———————

"Open the door! It's Hershel!" I heard Rick yell. "Carl! Come on."

    "Oh, my god." Carol said.

I ran out of my cell looking of the railing and rushed down the stairs as they rolled Hershel in.

"Go, go, go, go, go, go. In there." Rick shouted. "Turn it. Turn it. Turn around. Get him on the bed."

"What happened?" I asked, I hurried in the cell as they lifted Hershel onto the bed.

    "He got bit." Daryl answered.

"Oh, my God, he's gonna turn." Beth panicked.

"Did you cut it off?" Lori asked.

     "Yeah." Daryl said.
