Author's POV:

It's around 10am the next day after Namjoon video called you. He's been up since 6am, running around the venue and talking with the staff. He's currently in Busan getting ready for another interview with Yoongi and Jungkook.

For the first time today they finally have a 30-minute break to eat. The staff had ordered them some kimchi fried rice and they're now eating it together on the floor in the dressing room.

"So how're things with [Y/N]?" Yoongi asks, taking a bite of his kimchi fried rice.

Namjoon shrugs nonchalantly. "We're good."

"Oh come on, Hyung," Jungkook complains. "I'm the only one who hasn't met her. Tell me how it's going."

"Yeah, come on Namjoon," Yoongi chuckles. "We know it must be going pretty well because of how you've been acting lately."

He looks up at Yoongi in confusion. "How have I been acting lately?"

"I don't know how to explain it," he shrugs. "You just seem like you're back to the relaxed and confident leader I know."

Namjoon stares down at his food before answering. "Okay we're actually really good," he mumbles. "Like scary good. I called her last night."

"How'd that go?" Jungkook asks with a big grin on his face.

"I was worried she was angry at me for not having much time to contact her..." he trails off, nudging his fried rice with his chopsticks.

"Was she?"

"No," he sighs, looking back up. "She told me she missed me and that me doing what I love makes her just as happy as her sleeping next to me." Namjoon's cheeks start to heat up as he says it out loud. "It's just weird," he continues anyway. "Hae-Ran either would've guilt tripped me or yelled at me for ten minutes straight."

Jungkook frowns, poking Namjoon's knee. "You can't compare her to Hae-Ran, Hyung."

"I know," he nods, taking a small bite of his food. "It's just hard not to sometimes. And it's not so much that I compare them, but I think I had just gotten so used to one reaction every time, I started to expect anyone I'm with to react a certain way."

"You've been conditioned to think that way," Yoongi adds. "It won't last forever though. You'll eventually get used to things being different."

"I hope so," he mumbles.

"Do you like her?" Jungkook asks, his doe eyes almost piercing into Namjoon's head.

He looks back down at his food, nervously stirring it around. "I kissed her," he finally says, avoiding their eyes.

Yoongi's brows shoot up in surprise while Jungkook's rice almost falls out of his mouth.

"And how was that?" Yoongi asks softly.

"It..." Namjoon pauses and sets his chopsticks down to place his elbows on his knees. He buries his face in his hands from embarrassment, his ears turning a new shade of red. "It was amazing. I felt like a teenager having my first kiss all over again."

"I guess there's your answer, Jungkook," Yoongi chuckles.

"Hyung, why are you so cute? Huh?" Jungkook asks, almost sounding annoyed. "Stop being cute. You're giving me heart palpitations."

Namjoon throws his head back and laughs. "I'm not ready for anything other than what we have now though," he exhales.

"From what I've heard, [Y/N] doesn't seem to be in any rush either," Yoongi shrugs. "I haven't had much contact with her but Taehyung calls me every 30 minutes and updates me whether I ask or not."
