Chapter 13: Gold, Gold and more Gold!

(Y/N) slowly opened her eyes as the bright sun beamed on her face. The woman groaned in pain as she sat up slowly. (Y/N) smiled in surprised as she saw her bag along with her sickles sitting next to her. "Oh thank goodness! I thought I lost you guys forever!" She rummaged through her bag to find her log book and pencil.

"Oh (Y/N) you're up!" Chopper hopped over to her and started checking her bandages as she wrote in her log book.

(Y/N) smiled at the the doctor. "Thank you for taking care of me, Chopper. I'm glad to have a friend like you by my side." Chopper claimed that he didn't care for what (Y/N) said, but his actions contradicted his words because the little reindeer was smiling from ear to ear as he danced with joy.

(Y/N) giggled as her crew's swordsman walked up to her. "You can thank a Shandorian woman named Raki for finding your belongings in the forest." Zoro sat against a stone wall, facing (Y/N). "You really need to keep up with your stuff."

Before (Y/N) could explain how she lost them in the first place, Robin and Sanji walked up to the three. "OH MY (Y/N) SWEET, you're awake and as beautiful as ever!!" Sanji ran at her with heart eyes, but Chopper quickly intercepted his pursuit saying that (Y/N) needed rest and not attempts at love.

Robin giggles at the two boys, who are now arguing, as she sat next to the (h/c) haired girl who's nose is in her log book. "What are you doing now, Ms Journalist?"

(Y/N) looks up from her book, looking over at her crew's archeologist. "Journalist?" She asks confused. Robin smiles and points out how the (h/c) haired woman scribes down her adventures any chance she gets.

(Y/N) blushes as she closes her book. "Well, yeah. I suppose so. But the reason I started writing them down is to one day travel back to Water 7 and share all my adventures with my old friends." (Y/N)'s eyes fill with sadness as she places her log book back in her bag. The woman brought her knees to her stomach, wrapping her arms around them. "But eight years ago... I found out Flam died in a horrific accident trying to save Tom."

Robin didn't question what she meant, but just placed a hand on (Y/N)'s back as she comforted her. A few minutes passed before (Y/N) spoke up with a deep sigh, "But I've learned to deal with my grief through logging in my book. Every time I write another log, I can hear my friends laughing at all the good times I've had."

Usopp walked up to the group began conversation with Sanji about Enel and the golden bell. Usopp suggested that they must have crashed, but no one could say for sure.

Sanji sighed, "So we have a City of Gold, but a name only."

"Which just means our adventure and poverty continues." Zoro added in which made (Y/N) sulk from the lack of gold at the end of their battle of survival.

"I rather have dials over gold any day!" Usopp exclaimed, stating dials are something they just can't get from the Blue Sea.

Sanji went off about how he hoped Nami and Conis were alright. "Nami's not here?" (Y/N) looked worried.

Chopper moved on from (Y/N) to Zoro and began bandaging the swordsman as the group heard a familiar straw hat's voice call out to them.

"HEYYYYYYY" Luffy yelled while dragging a huge bag, beside him were the two lovely ladies Sanji worried about as they ran up to join their crew.

"We're back! I'm so glad you're okay!" Conis happily cried as she saw the crew. She held her face in her hands saying she was afraid she wouldn't see any of them again.

Nami told everyone that they found the priest's storage locker on the way back to the forest hence the large bag.

Zoro asked Conis where her father was, but Conis hesitated to answer. "Well um... he protected me. And then Enel..." Everyone looked at her in fear of the horrible news to come.
