Chapter 79: The Kraken Appears

The Straw Hats enjoyed a nice picnic on the coated Thousands Sunny as she descended deeper and deeper into the ocean. "Wow. How far down are we?" Luffy stared up in awe from the dark sea above them.

"I dunno. But it's getting darker and darker.." Usopp relied with a hint of concern in his voice.

Franky looked up as he explained. "We passed the Fotux Zone and it looks like we're around the bottom of the A-Flotux Zone. About a thousand meters, give or take."

"It's quiet. And the Sunny itself, feels oddly.. still." Robin calmly stated. "It's almost like floating in the sky."

"The sky.." Nami tilted her head slightly, watching the sight around her. "I learned so much about weather out there, but I dunno if it's much use underwater."

(Y/N) looked up at the sight of the dark ocean, feeling a strange sense. Pluto rubbed against her face, confirming the need to be alert. (Y/N) looked around the Sunny. "Hm... I wonder if we're alone down here." Nami turned to the (h/c) haired woman next to her and was about to question her words, but was interrupted by Chopper's shouts about a whale. Brook was stared by the sight, claiming the giant white whale being just like Laboon. Luffy was quick to shoot down Brook's claim, staying it looked just like White Beard. (Y/N)'s concerns vanished as she turned to her captain. "It doesn't even.. you know what? Never mind." (Y/N) placed her head in her hand, shaking her head at Luffy since he wore a confused look on his face.

"Hey, you guys." Usopp spoke up making his crew look up at him on the upper deck. "There's a ship looking thing coming our way."

"I knew it." (Y/N) quickly stood up, approaching Usopp with Nami, Luffy, Sanji and Zoro.

"You sure?" Luffy innocently questioned. Usopp quickly sassed his captain. "Why don't you come look for yourself."

"CHARGEE!!" A man yelled out before a cow sea beast began to swim towards the Sunny.

(Y/N) glared up at the sea beast in annoyance before having to change her footing, so she wouldn't fall from the ship pulled by the beast ramming into the Sunny. "It' a pirate ship!!" Chopper yelled out to his crew.

"They're ramming straight into us! Go away, you morons! You're gonna make us all drown!!" Usopp irritatedly screamed at the enemy pirates.

The ship continued to ram into the Sunny causing the two ships' bubbles to press against each other. Nami quickly yelled out as she watched the sight. "They're not trying to break our ship, they're trying to board it!"

"Damn it, who are they?!" Luffy questioned with slight frustration in his voice.

(Y/N) quickly replied. "It doesn't matter who they are! If they keep this up, our bubble could pop!" (Y/N) whipped her head to her chef. "Sanji, quick! We need to steer away from these idiots!!"

Sanji nodded in agreement before running to the helm's deck. "Hard to port, NOW!" Franky yelled out as Sanji reached the helm.

The Sunny began to stir left, but the enemy pirates continued their attempts to evade. "Doesn't look like they're letting up." (Y/N) irritated glared at the pirates before the Sunny shook. Zoro added in. "They don't know when to quit!"

The Sunny shook twice more before Luffy questioned again. "What are these guys after?!"

(Y/N) lightly gasped when she saw Sunny's bubble bounce off the other ship's bubble. "Help me!!" Chopper screamed as he slip in front of (Y/N).

Quickly, (Y/N) grabbed her small doctor and held him in her arms as Usopp yelled. "The bubble is about to pop!!"

"Keep it up, Sea Cow!!" A man with a tan long sleeved shirt and a green, black spotted, cape yelled out. His men behind him cheered for the Sea Cow.
