Chapter 63: For Our Captain!

(Y/N) vision was spinning around her from Zoro's hit. (Y/N) tilted her head up when Zoro stared speaking to Kuma. "Now show me you got some honor." (Y/N)'s eyes widened when she saw Zoro throw his swords between himself and Kuma.

Kuma sighed. "You made sure I can't even touch Straw Hat. Not unless I want to shame myself."

"Then you got my respect." Zoro sternly replied.

Kuma took a few steps before approaching Luffy's body, hovering his large left hand above of the captain. "If that's what you want, I give you my word. I won't take Straw Hats' head." Kuma grabbed Luffy making (Y/N)'s eyes widen in fear. "But if you're intent on taking his place. You will experience a living hell." The Warlord placed his left paw on Luffy's chest. A large red shaded air paw flew out from behind the captain. 'What is that..?' (Y/N) thought as Kuma placed Luffy back down making her feel a sense of relief. "I just repelled all physical injury from Straw Hats' body. His exhaustion, his pain. What rests before you is the some total of anguish he endorsed during his battle with Moira. If you truly wish to take his place, then you must accept and inflict his agony upon yourself." (Y/N) shook her head as she sat up, watching the two men. "As close to death as you are already, not only will it undoubtedly kill you, it will do so painfully. Why don't you have a taste." Kuma set a small bubble to Zoro. The swordsman's body jolted as Zoro screamed in pain when the bubble entered his body. (Y/N)'s eyes widened in utter fear as her swordsman fell over, coughing up blood. Zoro pushed himself up, but collapsed on his back. "Do you still want it?" Kuma calmly questioned the man.

"Just let me... pick the location." Zoro stood back up in front of the large red paw.

(Y/N) pushed herself up, stumbling a bit as she followed Kuma and Zoro to a location further away from their crew. Once the two stopped, (Y/N) called out to her crew mate. Zoro turned around, looking at her in shock before he could yell at her to get away, (Y/N) spoke. "I'm not letting you do this alone. You'll die if you take on all of this by yourself."

Zoro grabbed her shoulder, gripping it tightly. "It was my decision to do this."

"And it's my decision to help you!" (Y/N) snapped back to the swordsman. (Y/N) grabbed Zoro's hand. Letting his hand fall beside her, but not letting go. The (h/c) haired woman squeezed his hand lightly, glaring up at the red paw. "Let's get this over with."

Zoro squeezed her hand back as the two huffed from exhaustion. A few seconds passed before they held up their hands, diving into the red air ball. (Y/N)'s and Zoro's agonizing screams echoed throughout the quiet island. (Y/N) felt like her body was shredding to pieces, the sounds of her heart rapidly pounding echoed through her ears. Every time she tried to catch her breath, it felt like thousands of needles pressed against her lungs. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she chocked on the blood pouring out her mouth. She felt like passing out over and over again, but couldn't due to the constant pain pulsing throughout her body. The insane sensation felt like it lasted for hours, but it only lasted for mere minutes. Finally, the pain stopped raining down upon the two, but their suffering was not over. (Y/N) began to fall forward, but Zoro caught her in his arms. The two stood in silence, catching their breath before locking eyes with each other. "This says between us." (Y/N) sternly spoke to her crew mate, Zoro nodded his head in confirmation.

The two stood in silence for a long while, not looking at each other. (Y/N) heard the sounds of running, but was too exhausted to look up at whoever it was. "You guys really freaking me out there." Sanji's voice was heard, but (Y/N) still didn't look up at him. "So, what happened to the Warlord? Uh-" Sanji looked up at Zoro and (Y/N) standing in the middle of a large splatter of blood. The two were crossing their arms, shadows covering their eyes. Their clothes were ripped and blood poured from their eyes, head, nose, mouth and ears. "Where the hell all this blood come from?!! Hey! Are you guys still alive?!! Where'd that paw guy go?! What in the hell happened here?!"
