The head of the institute’s office had done a thorough check on the gynecology department. After Jennie had finished graduate school, she had sat to take an exam for primary care and passed.

She was currently a primary care physician in the hospital and there were always nurses next to her when she made prescriptions. Therefore, she would never have made such a lowly mistake.

Li Rongrong’s accusation was not logical and the office had treated the recent scene to be a farce.

Mino was the one who told Jennie that she was fine. He had an operation to perform that morning and had heard about the situation after the operation.

He had gone to his father, Chief Song, and also to Assistant Chief Li as well.

He trusted Jennie wholeheartedly and would never believe that Jennie would do something like that.

When he had gone to try to settle the situation, however, Lisa had already shown up. In addition Li Rongrong’s pitiful state, he also heard what others in the department were saying. He was able to piece together everything that had happened.

Mino didn’t feel too great because he wasn’t the first one to help out Jennie. Lisa had gotten that opportunity.

Therefore, he decided that he would be the first to notify Jennie that everything was fine.

Jennie was oblivious to Mino’s thoughts. She believed in her own innocence and that she would be fine no matter what.

Nonetheless, Mino had good intentions. Seeing how well-intentioned he was, Jennie offered to treat him to a meal to thank him.

Halfway through the meal, Jennie received a text from Lisa.

“Jen, I’m here. Did you get off work yet? Did you eat yet?”

She had no idea when Lisa had added her on Wechat. L had even customized his own name so it read “L Husband”.

She was still not entirely used to seeing the word “husband”.

She glanced at Mino, who was sitting across from her, and quickly replied with three words to describe her current situation.

“I am eating.”

“I haven’t eaten yet and I’m so hungry right now,” Lisa texted back.

Lisa had even added a sad emoji to his text. Jennie stared at the emoji, and felt as though she could see Lisa making that expression himself right in front of her.

She could picture him holding her by the waist and saying, “Jen, I haven’t eaten yet. I’m so hungry.”

Jennie suddenly felt like laughing, and replied with another text.

“Hurry up and go eat then.”

“I’m still in a meeting.” He added another sad emoji to this one.

Jennie was about to explode with laughter. This person. How can a grown-up act like such a child?

“Where is your meeting right now? When does it end?”

“At a client’s company. Not sure how much longer. *Helpless emoji*”

Jennie suddenly felt bad for him. It is sad he hasn’t eaten by now, right?

“Just bear with it for a while. Go eat after the meeting.”

She had decided to study medicine when she was still in high school and had never come into contact with any other majors. It wasn’t easy to be a doctor, but she also knew that Kim Soo-Hyun and Seo Yea-Ji had had it rough as well.
