Hye-Jun did not hate Jennie for marrying Lisa, nor did she hate her for being doted on by him. Still, Jennie should never ever have seduced Qiu Yanbo.

Her fists clenched and resentment flashed in Hye-Jun’s eyes.

Qiu Yanbo ignored her and took a look at the couple kissing before he turned to leave.

His resentment was different from Hye-Jun’s. He was thinking ahead. There was plenty of time; he was not in a hurry.

It was obvious some people wouldn’t be able to fall asleep that night; Jungkook and Somi would be just as upset as Hye-Jun and Qiu Yanbo.

The Jeon Family had come to Lin City to develop their business and they had cooperated with Tianyu before. Yet, the Jeon siblings had not been invited to this banquet.

It was not only that. Manoban’s cooperation had been in the bag before he had unexpectedly cooperated with the Kim Family.

Lisa married Jennie, so it was a matter of course that he cooperated with the Kim Family. For the Jeon Family, however, it was an offense.

Even Jungkook was not comfortable about it, let alone Somi. They even had a relationship with Jisoo. Lisa had a good relationship with Jisoo, yet he had not invited the Jeon brother and sister.

“Brother.” Somi saw some people post photos of the banquet on Wechat Moments. Her face turned green out of anger.

Why should Jennie enjoy such glory? Why is Lisa so good to her?

“Don’t you see?” Jungkook frowned, feeling regret for helping his sister trap Lisa. “What you did last time we saw him offended Lisa.”

“Why? I did it because-”

Somi didn’t finish that sentence. “Brother, what should I do? I really have to let Lisa and that woman stay together like that?”

“What else can you do?” Knowing what his sister was thinking, Jungkook sighed and said, “You’d better stop messing around. Dad was already displeased that we didn’t get to work with Tianyu. If we offend Lisa even more, I don’t know what he will do.”

Somi did not speak, but her face revealed her doubts.

Anyway, she had to try something to become Mrs. Manoban.

...

Jennie and Lisa were staying at the villa the next day. The largest bedroom on the second floor was their room.

Jennie went upstairs and found all the decorations and furnishings were in her favorite style.

The semi-circular balcony, which was super large, was furnished with a cane tea table and two sofas. There was a pergola on the edge, decorated with a few small green plants. Sitting on the sofa, she could see the swimming pool in the backyard.

When the guests had gone, Lisa saw her sitting on the sofa when he went upstairs. He came over and put his arm around her waist.

“What are you looking at? Isn’t it cold?”

“It’s just fine.” Jennie turned to him and asked, “Guests all gone?”

“Gone.” Lisa pinched her cheeks. He loved her delicate smooth skin so much that he could fondle it forever. “Are you tired?” He asked.

“No.” Compared to overnight operations, that night had not been really tiring.

“No?” Lisa nodded. “It’s getting late. Shall I draw you a bath?”

Jennie was going to say that she would take a shower, but Lisa had already gone into the bathroom. There was a light in his eyes.

Lisa quickly filled the bath with water. Jennie was about to get up when he suddenly reached out and picked her up. She was startled and put her arms around his neck very quickly.
