Jennie didn’t see Lisa because she was standing with her back to the door. She couldn’t believe that Grandpa Seo would use her as a marriage tool to unite with other families. She stood there, not knowing what to say.

Grandpa Seo, however, noticed Lisa, for he looked quite familiar. He couldn’t remember where they had met before, though.

Grandpa Qiu also noticed him. He was thinner than Grandpa Seo but was similarly energetic. Grandpa Seo went to Grandpa Qiu and asked,

“Who’s that young man?”

“Looks familiar, but I don’t remember where I’ve met him.”

When he came closer, Jennie was shocked to see him.

Why is he here all of a sudden? Isn’t he on a business trip all week?

Seo Yea-Ji, Kim Soo-Hyun, and Kim Hye-Jun all stared at Lisa.

Lisa walked straight towards Jennie and hugged her without looking at anybody else. “Honey, I’m back.”

Being held in Lisa’s arms in public left Jennie dumbfounded.

She was making eye contact with the members of Kim Family, Seo Family, and Qiu Family, which made her feel more awkward. “You...”

“I missed you so much,” Lisa uttered, kissing Jennie’s face aggressively. “Did you miss me?”

No, not at all. How could you ask that? You haven’t called or texted me for these days, How dare you say that? No one could trust you.

“You didn’t miss me? Oh, I feel so heartbroken.”

He covered his heart with his hands with a heartbroken expression: “Nini, I feel so heartbroken.”

“Come on.”

He didn’t speak out loud. But with everybody looking at them, his words were heard clearly.

Jennie pulled on his arms. “The elders are here.”

It seemed that Lisa only just noticed others were present. He was not embarrassed at all.

He waved and said, “Sorry, sorry, absence makes the heart grow fonder. You understand, right?”
Seo Yea-Ji’s mouth twitched a bit. Kim Soo-Hyun was also confused.

This man is so weird. He thought.

“Lisa.” Jennie said his name and introduced him to the family he hadn’t met yet.

Lisa greeted the elder family members, not shy at all.

“Mr. Seo, Mr. Qiu, I am Lalisa. ”

After greeting everybody, he pulled out a little box from his pocket. “I heard that it’s your birthday today. Happy birthday.”

“Thanks.” Qiu Yanbo took over the present, “It means a lot.”

Grandpa Qiu looked at this imposing man and then looked at Qiu Yanbo, realizing that he was Jennie’s husband. Why did he look so familiar?

Suddenly, something came across Grandpa Chou’s mind.

“You look familiar. Are you related to the Manoban family in Rong City?”

Hearing about the Manoban family in Rong City, Grandpa Seo also remembered. They both looked at Lisa. Jennie was nervous.

Lisa is just a normal person. How can he be involved with the Manoban Family in Rong City? The Manoban Family is so eminent that even I, an illegitimate daughter of Kim Family, know of them.

Hearing that, Seo Yea-Ji and Kim Soo-Hyun stared at Lisa. The Manoban Family in Rong City? How could it be?

He lifted his eyebrows. Seeing them stare at him like he was a monkey, he looked confused.
