Why would she mean to laugh at Hye-Jun?

“I didn’t,” Jennie said frankly and shook her head. Even if there was no sisterly love between Hye-Jun and her, she would not want to laugh at her about something like this.

“You didn’t? You said you knew Yanbo had a crush on someone else, right?”

Hye-Jun looked sour and had decided that Jennie had intentionally chosen not to tell her.

She was the last to know that her man had fallen in love with someone else. Was there anything that could have been more ridiculous?

“I just—” Words failed Jennie. “Whatever you think, I really found out about it by accident.”

“On accident?” Hye-Jun nodded with a fierce look on her face. “Since it was an accident, why don’t you tell me who the woman is?”

“I don’t know.” Jennie answered very quickly. Only Irene, who knew her very well, could see that her fingers had just twitched quite a bit.

She looked at Jennie curiously, thinking that her bestie was sort of cool. She not only knew about Qiu Yanbo’s affair, but also who the woman was.

“You don’t know?” Hye-Jun did not believe it at all. “If you really don’t know, then how do you know that Yanbo has had a change of heart? You know very well. Are you not going to tell me?”

“Certainly not.” Jennie didn’t want to answer the question. “Sister, I really don’t know.”

“Good, very good.” Hye-Jun nodded. “You don’t know who it is, but you know he had a change of heart?”

Jennie had nothing to say, but Hye-Jun would not just let it go.

“You knew he had a change of heart but you didn’t tell me? Jennie, that’s what you do as a sister, isn’t it?”

Jennie was speechless. “Would you have believed me if I had told you?”

“How do you know I wouldn’t have?”

“Who would you have believed? Me or Qiu Yanbo?”

Jennie had not wanted to get involved in this mess at all. “Sister, would you please be reasonable?”

She had done nothing but been accused of coveting Qiu Yanbo in the past. How could she dare to tell Hye-Jun to be reasonable?

Hye-Jun did not speak. She glared at Jennie hatefully before she finally nodded.

“Jennie, you are good.”

Irene watched Hye-Jun leave angrily and turned to Jennie.

“Jennie, you are not bad.”

Suffering from a headache, Jennie was unwilling to talk about this matter. “Enough of this topic.”

“No. You ignited my interest so I need gossip. Tell me, who was the woman that made Qiu Yanbo abandon the great Miss Su?”

Jennie pushed her hand away and looked helpless.

Five minutes later, after hearing the whole story, Irene was astonished, her eyes wide open. “My God, Jennie, really? You have even gotten the heart of a man of the Qiu Family?”

“Hush, keep it down.” Jennie wanted to seal her mouth. “You want everyone to know?”

“Don’t worry, no one is coming for the time being.” Irene wore a surprised face. “I never expected that you would be so attractive.”

“I’d rather I was not.”

Irene looked at her and nodded slightly. “Right, this is rotten luck.”
