it only been an hour since we've been down at the beach and all I wanted to do was go back to the hotel, but i'm trying my best to not be so antisocial.
I walked over to an icecream shack, standing in line, waiting to get a cone. a group of girls were staring at me, along with some guys. as cleared my throat trying to stay focused.
I wasn't like a normal person. I wore dark clothes, and had colored hair. a new color every month basically. currently a green, and of course I always got looks from multiple people. after getting my come, I turned to walk away.
"nice hair...freak," a blonde girl said as her friends laughed, and the guy holding her hand pushed in to me, and making me drop my cone.
I frowned glancing back as I began walking back to the beach area. i'm just gonna go inside. I hate everything. why do I have to be such a freak? I calmed my breathing, trying to control my crying.
"hey!" some girl yelled but I continued walking, scared of what she would say.
"no, wait!" she said as she caught up to me. she smiled and shook her head. "sorry about that girl back there, they're just meanies," she said making me grin. she looked young.
"i'm bobby," she smiled as her curly brown hair blew from the wind and the scent of her hair, and sunblock could be smelt. she smelt of coconut, and blackberries. she smelt nice.
"i'm michael," I smiled.
"nice hair, I want to dye mine, but I don't know what color would look good on me," she said as we continued walking.
"you'd definitely rock pink hair," I said as she blushed and glanced down.
"uh, so how old are you?" I asked.
"15," she said as my eyes widened a bit.
"oh. i'm 18," I said and glanced down at her, "is that okay?"
she smiled brightly and nodded, "of course. friendship has no age to it, right? or is that too cliche?" she asked and I smiled at her.
I like bobby.
"so where are you from? around here or," she said.
"Sydney actually. I came with some friends and we're staying until tomorrow night," I said as she frowned.
"well that sucks. i'm actually from here. I only live an hour from the beach."
I nodded my head as we walked around for the next hour, just talking about multiple things. I was surprised someone like her would actually want to be around me this long, and like talking to me.
"if you were around here, I'd actually ask you to go with me to dye my hair, but maybe that's too weird. I don't know. you're really cool, mikey, is that okay? mikey?"
I smiled and chuckled, "yeah, that's cool, and you know what? let's go do it. cmon," I said grabbing her hand and pulling her up.
"w-what?"
"we're going to go buy some pink dye for you, and dye your hair," I smiled as she nodded her head and I pulled her along the side of me as we went and bought the hair dye.
"who did you come with?" I questioned.
"my grandma. but they're in the hotel. we're staying for the day, but she can't be in the heat, so she got a room," she said an I nodded.
"you up for actually dying your hair?" I asked and she shrugged and nodded as we went to the checkout line.
"let's go back to my room," I offered and she nodded. once I got there, it was 8:30 and the sun still hasn't set yet. calum was nowhere to be found in our room, so I assumed he was still at the beach.
as she sat on the toilet, right before I put the bleach in her hair, she spoke up.
"I can't do it, i'm scared! what if I look bad? this was a bad idea," she claimed as I chuckled looking at her in the eyes.
"no, you're gonna look beautiful. you're already cute, and with cotton candy hair, you're gonna look hella. don't worry, you'll look fine, I promise," I smiled as she blushed fiercely and nodde taking a seat.
there's no way I could have a crush on a fifteen year old. i'm almost four years older than her? and she's so young. but he's so goofy, and cute, and I think I might be crushing.
oh shit, is this pedophilish?
