"yeah just stay at my place," I nearly slurred to the blonde boy standing in my door way. he sighed before kicking off his shoes, and shutting my bedroom door. I smiled as he grabbed a pillow, but frowned when I noticed he was going to sleep in the floor.

"no, luke you can sleep with me, we're best friends, I don't care," I mumbled trying to hold my eyes open and see clearly, but was failing miserably.

"no Ashton. we're friends and I don't know. it's weird sleeping together," he said and I gave him a confused look.

"no it's not weird. why the hell is it weird. huh? tell me!" I said anxiously and he covered my mouth telling me to shush.

I broke out into a fit of giggles and nodded.
"okay, sorry. please just sleep with me. one last time, okay? Brittany hardly ever stays anymore and it makes me feel sad because I feel like she doesn't like being with me," I asked and he sighed turning the light off and then then bed started moving and he crawled in beside of me.

I smiled, turning around and laid there quietly waiting for him to start talking, but he never did. he probably fell asleep on me.

I scooted closer, cuddling into his body. he tensed up, and scooted away and I frowned.
"do you not like cuddling?"

"no, Ashton. ugh you're drunk okay. stop acting this way... you make me feel weird," he said and I giggled.

"make you feel weird? like how?" I questioned and he sighed frustratedly.

"it's just, I don't know. I just get this weird feeling and-never mind. just go to sleep," he said and I nodded.

"we can cuddle. right?"

after a couple seconds of silence he turned his back to me, and I smiled as I cuddled and began spooning with the blonde boy, who smelt like sweet vanilla.

"can I ask a question?" I asked.

"I guess," he said and I nodded.

"do you think Brittany and i are going to last?"

he sighed and stayed quiet for a little while before speaking.

"I don't know. maybe, you never really know until it comes down to it," he said and I laid there with my eyes open.

maybe Brittany and I are gonna break up. we don't act the same like we use to. I don't want us to come to an end though. she still makes me happy. I still love her. at least i'll still have luke there for me. he's my best friend.

luke will always be there for me, even after Brittany is gone. because it's only fair.

"i'll always have you though," it told him looking at his face and he stayed serious and nodded his head.

"yes, Ashton. always," he said and I smiled and nodddd my head before shutting my eyes.
