I sat in my room, waiting for luke to come over. He's taking forever. I know he's with Calum though, which I'm not jealous of. Why would I be jealous that he's with him. That's just me being crazy, and I'm not crazy.
I could hear a car door shut from out side, and it beep. I knew it was Luke. After a minute or so he had walked through my bedroom and gave me a smile and I couldn't resist to hold mine back.
"Hey, sorry it took so long, I didn't leave the park until 8 and had to go home and take a shower," he said as I shook my head.
"It's cool, no worries," I told him as he collapsed on my bed, releasing a long breath, cuddling his head into my lap making me smile. I ran my hand through his damp hair, getting a small scent of the shampoo he used. It was his moms, but it smelled so good. And his body smelt of coconut.
He glanced up smiling at me, and grabbed my free hand and looped it through. "You didn't tell me you was hanging out with Brittany today," he said.
"You didn't tell me you was hanging out with Calum," I countered as he sighed.
"I didn't have plans too, he just randomly text and asked me too," he said as I just have a small nod and he glanced at me for a second before looking away and shaking his head towards our conversation.
"No, we're not being like that," he said as I looked down at him.
"Being like what," I asked.
"Like this, you know what I mean, Ashton," he said as I sighed and nodded. I did know what he meant.
"Why do you get so worried about Calum anyways?" He asked me, "I'm with you, Ashton, not him," he explained. "We're just friends."
"Yeah and so were we," I remarked as he glanced at me and I sighed frustrated as I pulled my hand from his. "I just get worried, because I know you guys kissed and that he tried touching you before. Of course I'm going to be worried over you guys, because how am I suppose to know you guys aren't going to do something again?"
This time luke sat up, and I could tell he didn't want to talk about this conversation but I did. It's been on my mind since I found out.
"Ashton, Calum and I are just friends," he said, "You're being ridiculous," he said shaking his head.
"I don't see how I'm being ridiculous," I said.
"Yeah, says the one who has a girlfriend," he said nearly rolling his eyes as he leaned against my wall and crossed his legs.
I stopped speaking, because honestly, he was right. Luke is still considered single, and I'm most definitely not. I'm the least bit single, and he had a point. But I still couldn't help the way I felt. Maybe I am being crazy, I need to calm down.
Luke rubbed his hands over his face, sighing, "Look, I'm not trying to argue. I didn't come over so we can argue," he said, his blue eyes meeting mine as I nodded.
"Me either, I'm sorry," I apologized as he scooted over to me and grabbed my hand, rubbing his thumb over it.
"Want to go get a slushy? I think I'm craving a slushy," he said as I nodded as he hopped up quickly, along with me.
He grabbed his car keys and we walked out of my house and got into his car. The radio was off ad we were just talking about dumb stuff on the way to Speedway. Once we arrived, Luke told me to get the slushies while he goes and get some snacks.
"Get me blue and—"
"Yellow, I know, Luke," I said as he smiled and sent me a playful wink before disappearing towards the candy aisle.
After getting us the medium slushies, I went to find Luke, seeing him talking to some girl I didn't know who she was.
"Get the candy?" I questioned walking up to them as he glanced at me and held up the candies he picked out.
"Uh yeah got them," he said and looked back at the girl, who honestly was beautiful. Just simply so pretty. She didn't have to try. "I'll talk to you later?"
She smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I'll expect it," she smiled widely before turning back to the shelf as Luke and I walked to the check out aisle.
"Well she's gorgeous," I said as Luke nodded.
"She is," he agreed as he paid for the stuff and we walked out to his car.
I wanted to ask more about her, but we had already got into it over Calum and I didn't want him to think I was inferring anything with the girl.
"Weird seeing her here," he commented before pulling out.
"Why's that," I questioned as he shrugged.
"Just haven't seen her in a few months so I didn't think she lived here," was all he said before changing the subject.
