Author’s POV

Jungkook reached for the lollipop on his desk, slowly unwrapping it. Once it was free of its cover, he leaned closer and gently nudged it toward Taehyung’s lips.

“Here, your favorite flavor.” He smiled softly.

Taehyung’s eyes sparkled the moment he saw it. Without hesitation, he latched onto the candy with a happy hum, lips forming an adorable ‘o’.

The stress Jungkook had been feeling all day seemed to ease instantly. The frown on Taehyung’s face from earlier had also disappeared, replaced by that innocent joy Jungkook loved more than anything. He chuckled quietly and returned his gaze to the laptop screen.

It had been nine months since the household was turned upside down by the news of Seokjin’s pregnancy.

Youngjae had whispered the words—and Namjoon passed out right then and there.

Let's say, Jungkook and Yoongi had a hard time bringing him back to consciousness.

The littles, on the other hand, instantly went into protective mode. They barely let Seokjin lift a finger. Even in their headspaces, they were constantly by his side—bringing blankets, peeling fruits, keeping his water full, or just hovering anxiously.

Of course, chaos still followed them. Whenever Mark wasn't there to keep them in line, trouble wasn’t far behind.

They always got caught, and always got scolded. And somehow, always found their way back to Seokjin with teary apologies and pouty faces. He’d forgive them with an eye roll and gentle pats on the head. Those little punks were his babies after all.

And then, Jackson had proposed to Mark.

Yes—proposed. But only after nervously asking Namjoon and Jungkook’s permission. He was lucky enough to come out alive though. (Seokjin threatened them)

Even with permission granted, both of them had trailed behind the couple like suspicious security guards. Because—just in case anything went wrong, they'd clean up the mess (Jackson).

When they spotted the ring, both men nearly lost it.

“That’s it?! That’s the ring?!” Namjoon had gasped.

“It looks like it came out of a vending machine!” Jungkook added, already flexing his fists.

Mark had to hold them both back, laughing. Jackson was on the verge of losing his shit.

“He asked, and I said yes,” he had said, “And I had told him I wanted something simple. It’s the effort that matters, not the price, my dear Papa and Hyungie.”

Namjoon cried first. Jungkook followed seconds later.

Both of them cried so ugly that Mark ended up patting both their backs while he comforted them—despite being the one who was just proposed to.

They were too dramatic. But they were his family. And he loved them for it.

As for Soobin and Yeonjun—they were still very much in their dating phase. Yeonjun had gotten braver lately, more open about his feelings.

Soobin was on cloud nine, heart full and always blushing now that Yeonjun had become too blunt. But Little Yeonjun was the cutest in Soobin’s eyes.

Except when Jungkook showed up. Which somehow happened most of the time.

“I like to flatten chickens the most,” Jungkook would say in the flattest tone, eyes on Yeonjun. But it was Soobin who would get a chill down his spine, bow deeply like a student before a professor, and disappear faster than a whisper.
