My eyes slowly drifted open. It was dark outside. I checked the time on my phone and it read 9:42 PM. I've been asleep for almost 8 hours.

I sat up and immediately regretted it. My head pounded and my face throbbed.

"NO! Go! Go! Go! Calum behind you! Shoot dammit!"

I furrowed my eyebrows and walked out my bedroom door. I pressed a hand to my temple. I felt hot, but not a comfortable, cuddly warm. I felt a sick warm. And I hated it.

I walked downstairs. I saw the TV light reflecting on the walls.

"Fuck!" I heard Luke say.

"Luke?" I asked, but it came out like a groan.

Luke turned his attention away from the TV screen, onto me. He had a headset on and held a gaming control.

"Helen, you're awake."

"Yea," I said softly.

"Hold on, guys," Luke said into the small microphone and paused the game. He put the control down and walked towards me.

"You okay?" He asked me.

"My head and face hurts," I said.

"Sit down, I'll bring you some painkillers," Luke said kindly.

I nodded and shuffled towards the couch. I sat on the couch. Luke came back with a pill bottle and a glass of water. He handed me the glass and two pills.

"Thanks," I said. I popped the pills in my mouth and chugged the water.

"Better?" He asked.

"Luke the pills aren't magic, they won't work instantly, but I was thirsty so I do feel a bit better. Just a little bit."

He snorted.

I stretched my feet out and placed my head on a pillow.

"Are you gonna stay here?" He asked me.

"Yea. What are you playing?" I asked.

"Call of Duty," he replied.

He grabbed the control once again and pressed play.

"Guys I'm back," He said.

His fingers pressed the control's buttons.

"I just had to get some painkillers for Helen."

He paused.

"Wait, Helen, why does your face and head hurt?" he asked me.

"Cause Rebecca punched my jaw and head," I replied.

"The fight," Luke said into the microphone.

"The guys say they hope you feel better. And Calum says Hi."

I smiled, "Tell them thanks, and tell Calum and said Hello."

"She said Thanks. And Calum, she says Hello."

After about 30 minutes of watching Luke play video games my eyelids started to get heavy and I eventually fell asleep once again.
