| Calum |
It was Monday, the day before my date with Helen and I was nervous. Freaking out even. I don't know where to take her.
Suit?
That will make it seem like I'm trying way to hard.
Band shirt?
That will make it seem like I don't care.
Fancy dinner?
Pizza?
Panda Express?
I don't know! Who knew planning a date was going to be this hard.
I was pacing my bedroom floor when my mum knocked on the door.
"Calum, dinner is ready," She said.
"Okay," I reply, "Hey, Mum, can I tell you something?"
She poked her head in and nodded.
"I have a date tomorrow," I said.
"Really?" She smiled.
"Yea, with Helen. Helen Hemmings, she is Luke's sister."
"How sweet," She said. "You must really really like this girl."
"I like her a lot, Mum," I said. "But I don't know where to take her."
"Well, what does she like?"
"She is the girl version of Luke," I reply.
"Maybe settle for some Pizza or Panda Express," She said and got up and left.
I laughed.
I picked my phone up and texted Luke.
Me: I need your help, mate.
Luke: What is it?
Me: Where should I take Helen?
Luke: She isn't really into fancy restaurants, so maybe Panda Express.
Me: Seriously? My Mum just said that!
Luke: Well listen to her!
Me: Okay, thanks man.
Luke: Yea, no problem
I locked my phone and slipped it in my pocket.
I started relaxing a little. I got the whole night planned out. I know what I am going to wear and take her and what I am going to do when I drop her off back home.
Man, I'm nervous. I'll try my best to make it a good day for her.
Until tomorrow.
