"Alright, so with this button you control your character and with these, controls the actions your character will do." Luke explained showing me buttons on the game controller. "Got it?"

I nodded, "I think so."

"I'll take that as a yes. Don't worry, I'll go easy on you," Luke said.

"Really?" I asked beaming.

"No," Luke smirked.

I glared at him.

We picked our teams and entered the virtual field, The game began and I improvised.

In the beginning my team sucked and Luke was winning by two goals.

After about five minutes I started to get the hang of it.

Luke scored another goal. "YES!" He shouted and stood up. "WOOO!"

I huffed and continued playing. I scored a goal.

"See, I'm not that bad," I said.

"You're behind two goals," Luke pointed out.

"I'm gonna win this," I said and focused on the screen.

"In your dreams."

My thumbs flew across the buttons, trying to get my players to get a hold of the ball. I started dribbling the ball to the other side of the virtual field. I pressed a button and the character kicked the ball with impressive speed and height. The soccer ball flew into the goal.

"GOAAAALLLLL!!!!!" I yelled. "One more goal and we are tied."

The game was getting intense and my heart was racing. I stared intently at the screen, figuring out my next game plan.

The doorbell rang.

"I'm comin-NO!" Luke shouted as I scored another goal.

"YES!" I jumped up.

Luke stood up and opened the door, Ashton, Michael, and Calum stood there. Luke came back to the sofa and the boys stepped inside. Michael closed the door behind him.

"Hey guys," I said while focusing back to the TV screen. Luke unpaused the game.

"Who's winning?" Calum asked and plopped on the sofa.

"It's a tie," I replied.

"Have you ever played FIFA?" Michael asked.

"This is my first time," I replied.

"Whaaat?" He asked.

I laughed and focused once again.

Luke's team had the ball, they were dribbling it to my side.

"Oh, oh, oh, he's coming at you," Calum said.

He kicked the ball but I made my goalie block it.

"OOOHH. You can do this Luke!" Michael said.

I dribbled the ball and kicked it. It soared over the net.

"Fuck!" I shouted.

"Someone's aggressive," Ashton said.

I was fuming. It scared me a little that I was this mad over a futbol game. And it wasn't even real.

"Calm down Helen, don't be angry," Calum said. "You'll win."

"Calum, shut up," Luke said.

"Hey, leave him alone," I defended.

Luke's players kicked the ball around.

"Move dammit," I said to myself.

"Go, go, go, KICK!" Luke said as his player kicked the ball.

"RUN, you moron!" I shouted at the screen. My thumbs slapped the controller and my heart raced. "Get the damn ball!"

But it was too late, the ball soared into the net. Gamer over

"YES!" Luke shouted and stood up.

I put the controller on the table.

"Fuck you Luke," I said.

"Aw, don't be a sore loser," Luke said and looked at me.

I snorted and pushed his face away with my hand.

"Who's next?" I asked waving the controller.

"I'll go," Michael said and took it.

I moved from my spot and sat next to Calum.

He smiled at me, "You'll be okay," he said and lightly patted my thigh.

I nodded.

"Helen, can you get the chips?" Luke asked.

"No," I said.

"Pleeeeaasseee," he whined. I rolled my eyes.

He looked at me with his puppy eyes and pouted.

I hate when he does that.

I groaned and got up, walking into the kitchen.

"And get Michael a separate bowl," Ashton called out.

"Why?" I asked.

"He has this annoying habit of sprinkling the remains from his fingers back onto the bowl," Ashton explained.

"Okay," I laughed.

I brought down two bowls. I stood on my tiptoes and opened the top cabinet. There where three bags of chips. I jumped up but couldn't reach them.

Sometimes I really hate being short.

I huffed in frustration and jumped up on the counter.

I heard a small chuckled behind me. I turned my head and Calum was leaning against the fridge. He was trying not to burst out laughing.

"That's not funny," I said.

"I'm sorry, you just look cute," Calum laughed.

I brought the three bags down and jumped off the counter.

"I could have helped you," Calum said.

"To bring down the bags or myself?" I asked sarcastically.

"Both, if you wanted," Calum replied.

I raised an eyebrow at him. He smirked and then turned to the two bowls. I opened the bags and poured the chips into the two containers.

I felt someone behind me and I turned around. Calum was towering over me. I was faced by his muscular chest. I looked up at him, he gripped my waist.

"You know if Luke finds us here, he'll probably get mad," I said.

"Maybe, maybe not," Calum said and flashed me his gorgeous smile.

He tilted my chin up and brought his lips to mine.
