"Do you have a crush on my sister?" Luke asked me.

I swallowed.

Fuck. I'm caught. Can't say no, now.

"To be honest, Luke," I paused, "Yea, I do."

Luke's eyebrow arched and he stared me down.

I looked over at Michael and Ashton. Michael had a smirk on his face and Ashton had a surprised look on his face.

"Oldest tale in the book, best mate has a crush on the younger sister. I'm guessing you two were flirting in those texts?" Luke asked.

Michael looked like he was trying hard not to laugh.

I felt my face get hot, "Yea, we were."

Luke stood up, "Backyard, now," he said sternly.

"OOOhhhh," Ashton said.

"Gonna get your ass kicked," Michael laughed.

I glared at them and stood. I walked out the backyard door and Luke closed it behind him.

"Look, I'm not gonna beat you up," Luke started.

I sighed in relief and Luke snorted.

"Calum, you're my best mate and I'm trusting you with my sister. Especially after what she told me, I should be strict and have a no boyfriend rule. But I'm not going to. You're a good guy and I know you will never hurt her," He slapped his hand on my shoulder. "So, if you would like to and if she would want to. You can date my sister. I'm giving you my permission."

My eyes widened, "Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yea, I'm serious," Luke replied.

I smiled widely at him.

"Now, I'm going to go ask Helen something," Luke said and walked back inside.

Has heaven called down upon me? This day suddenly got a whole lot better!

| Helen |

I once again, like later that day, was sitting on my bed reading my book. I was in a very interesting part when someone cleared their throat, causing me to jump.

I looked up and Luke was standing there, with a smirk on his face. I gave him a confused look.

"What?" I asked.

"Did I scare you?" he asked.

"Yes, you did, I was engrossed into my book," i replied.

"What does 'engrossed' mean? He asked.

I snorted, "When you are into something or it's interesting," I reply.

Luke nodded.

"I gotta ask you something," he said.

"What is it?" I asked placing my bookmark on my page and closed my book.

"Do you like Calum?" He asked.

"He is a pretty cool guy," I say.

"No, I mean, like him, like him," He said.

"You mean a crush?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Who wants to know?" I asked.

"Me," Luke replied.

"Well," I started, "If you must know. Yes, I do."

"I knew it!" Luke said wide eyed and a huge smile on his face.

Oh god.

"What?" I asked.

He still had that smirk on his face and his eyebrow was raised. I knew that look.

"Luke, don't," I said.

"I'm gonna tell Calum!" He said and sprinted out of my room.

"Fuck!" I yelled and ran after him.

I ran down the stairs.

"Luke!" I yelled.

I tackled him to the ground and he squirmed under me.

"If you tell Calum I have a crush on him, I swear I will personally-"

"Don't need to tell him," Luke said.

Someone cleaed their throat and I looked up. Calum was standing over me. A huge smiled on his face.

I quickly stood up, "Oh Hi, Calum!"

"Confession time!" Michael yelled.

I turned around.

"Did all of you hear?" I asked.

"Yep," Ashton smiled.

I felt my face get hot as he blood rushed to my cheeks.

"Boys, I have to talk to my dear brother," I said with a sarcastic smile.

I slapped Luke's back and pushed him towards the kitchen.

"Lucas Robert Hemmings!" I said.

"Helen Rose Hemmings," Luke said.

I rolled my eyes, "Why would you do that?"

"Because, Calum confessed to me that he likes you too," he replied.

"Really?!" I asked.

"yea," Luke replied.

"Better not be lying to me, Lucas."

"I'm not, Helen."

"Tell Calum I want to talk to him in the backyard." I said.

He nodded and left.

I walked into the backyard and waited.

"Hey beautiful," I heard Calum behind me.

I turned and smiled up at Calum.

"Hi," I said.

"Look, Helen, I like you a lot, a lot. And I tried to deny my feeling because you were Luke's sister and I thought he wouldn't accept it. But he has given me permission to date," Calum said and smiled that gorgeous smile that I love so much.

I smiled at him and laughed a little.

"So, will you do me the honor of going on a date with me on Tuesday?" He asked.

"I'd love to, Calum," I said.

He smiled even wider, if possible and picked me up into a hug. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. I can't wait for Tuesday.
