The Invalid Excuses

The next couple days or so later, Wakahisa definitely did her best to make my school life a living disaster. I'll give her that.

One morning, we walked past her and she tripped me with her leg. I FELL AND HIT THE WALL. I could hear Ciel shouting at them as they ran off, snickering and laughing. When I pushed myself up, I noticed how all my papers were scattered around me. Another thing I took note of was that the stairs were just riiiiiiiight over there. Were they trying to kill me now ? After that, Ciel dragged me off to the infirmary because I had a slight cut on my forehead. It was just a small cut, but she wouldn't stop talking. She kept saying, "If that leaves a scar, I'm going to make sure that they don't bother coming back here every again." She fumed as she disinfected the cut and put a bandage over it. Another time, they attempted to ruin my things. But hellooooooo, I obviously thought ahead.

"Jealously really is the ugliest form of personality huh ?", I sighed. Or rather, love.

Around the time we left the infirmary, it was 3rd period. Physical Ed. We showed up late, but Ciel gave a valid explanation to Sensei, so we didn't get in trouble. (I was guessing she was going to say it was because of Wakahisa-san and her friends, but she didn't. After all, Wakahisa was a year younger than we were. [We're all 2nd years]) She still had to be involved in class though, unlike me, who was able to sit out and watch. While they were forming groups, I noticed Shuichi walk on by. "Oh ?", He said, "You're not taking part today ?" I shook my head. "Something happened", I replied, pulling a smile. He sighed. "Can't be helped", he said, before giving off a faint smirk and then going back. I watched them as they did exercises, and all those other things you'd do in a Physical Ed class. I thought about the pros and cons of Wakahisa. I ended up coming to these conclusions.

• She can't fight

• She's slow

• I could kill her

• A "Wakahisa and Minamino relationship" doesn't exist

• She wants Shuichi

• She's a pain

• She wants the Octopus

• She's trying to kill me

• She's pushy

• She's a stalker

• She's a rival I don't want

I sighed after listing them out. [Was that even all of it ?]

Later that afternoon, after what she had done during school, she was bold enough to approach us because Shuichi was there. Ciel was about ready to go off on her but she just glared. Hmm.. or was she ? The three of us were all planning to walk to Tachibana to pick up Mizuki. But no, she had to come and act all clingy clingy. Ciel and I were even going to make a run for it and leave them, but Shuichi also had that "If you leave me alone with her, I'm going to kill you both", kind of look. So we suffered with him. And also, it wasn't just her. She was those two friends that had laughed at me when I fell and hit the wall. They even had the nerve to MUG ME when they weren't even SUPPOSED to BE THERE. Eventually, we all just walked halfway and ended at Kaede Park. It would've been troublesome if they knew of Mizuki, and Shuichi was well aware of that. We ended up stopping there because it was where Ciel was going to go off. I stood by Shuichi and watched. 

"Can you damn 1st years take a hint ?", Ciel hissed as her hand pushed her hair back into place. "Can't you tell you're being a bother right now ? Or wait, does someone need to tell you ?" They glared. "Why don't you take a hint ? We only want to hang out with Minamino-san !", Wakahisa hissed back. "Well can't you see that he's already with someone ?", Ciel snapped back. "Besides, I don't ever recall him saying it was alright to hang out with us. If you want a date with him, do it later. Some people have more important things to do than babysit some first years." She paused. "In fact, why are you ever here ? Even AFTER you TRIPPED and SHOVED Shiori into the wall, you think it's suddenly alright to be here just because he is ?" I watched Shuichi's gaze land on them as they tried to make an excuse. "She was in the way !", her friend no.1 shouted. "We were only trying to get past !", Friend no.2 said. Ciel smirked. "You literally had HALF of the hallway to yourselves and you still had the nerve to trip Shiori when I was around." The intense aura didn't surprise me. "Hmmmmm", I heard him say.

Suddenly, he turned around and faced me, a serious look in his eyes. I flinched and took a step back. Oooh I hated it when he did stuff like that. It always threw me off whenever he decided to play the "character" Shuichi that was "supposed" to be in love with me... ugh just thinking about it makes me shiver. "Wh...what ?", I asked. He smiled, and then slowly moved towards me, putting his hands on my face. He looked into my eyes, which completely threw me off. "You're hurt ?", He asked. I gulped. For some reason, it got hot. Really hot. I put my hands on the back on his hands and tried to pull them off. But he wouldn't budge. So the best next thing I could do was avert my eyes. "N...not at all", I mumbled. When I looked back again, I noticed him staring at the band aid on my forehead. At last, I thought, he'll finally pull away. But no. Shuichi pulled me closer and placed a kiss. On my forehead. Where the band aid was. What just happened ? He pulled away as I watched him grin. "I wouldn't want your adorable little face to get ruined", he said. I could hear the emphasis in his voice. It was kind of sarcastic actually. We turned our heads to see Ciel sneering at Wakahisa, and Wakahisa and her friends were blushing. If I was normal, then maybe I would have too but, this is the relationship of the Octopus and the Klutz. I'm still kinda not used to it though. Shuichi's full of surprises.

"You see now ?", Ciel sighed, "Everyone's happy the way they are, so hurry up and leave." Wakahisa grimaced before they finally left. "I.. I won't accept this !!!", She said, "I'll make sure you both aren't together !!" I waved as they disappeared from sight. "But we're not !", I called back. They didn't hear me, but it was alright. Ciel laughed. "Serves you right", she muttered. Even Shuichi chuckled.

In the end, we went back to our normal routine. We still had those Wakahisa attempts, but it was alright. I'd like to see her try and scare me. Our routines were always welcome to new things.
