[Oka P.O.V.]

I escaped death once. I don't think it's possible to escape it twice.

"I think I'm dying but it's too soon to tell. You won't tell the others will you?"

Kana, who gazed at the sunset with a nonchalant expression on her face, shook her head.

"No. I won't", she replied. "Besides, the choice is all yours. I have nothing to do with it. The most I can do is either support or refuse your decision. This business doesn't really concern me."

I smiled to myself and looked at the sunset painted sky. "Thank you.. Kana."

From the corner of my eye, I thought I saw a slight smile. For the demon who caused so much destruction in Makai, she was quite patient. There was a pleasant feeling with having her around. She wasn't as bad as what she was said to be. I'm sure that the Kana from 5,000 years ago and the Kana now are still the same person. However, there is something different about the Kana that stand beside me. She's more.. amiable.

I hope that the others can see that before it's too late.

Especially Ciel.

(Kana P.O.V.)

A stoic expression lingered on his face as I found myself standing face to face with an old companion. "Rival", more like. I didn't know why he was suddenly back in Ningenkai. After what happened, I was expecting him to stay in Makai. I guess I was wrong. He was here for a reason.

"Is there something you need from me?", I nonchalantly asked, "Or are you here to waste my time?" Eion narrowed his eyes and glared at me. I slightly shifted around before jumping back. I smirked. If I hadn't moved back, Eion would have buried me into the ground. There was a shallow, medium sized hole where I was just standing. His reason for being here was clear. I didn't have the time to play. Eion slowly stood up and then opened his hand after punching the ground. He looked up at me and scowled. "So it really is you", he said. "Kana." "And if it is?", I asked. "Is there something that you need from me?" "Yeah", he huffed, "I need for you to die." "Ouch", I chuckled with a grin. "Though I can't blame you for saying such thing."

"I don't understand why Luurè let you live after he saw you the day that you destroyed the base with that light", Eion said, his voice hostile and cold. "Why didn't he kill you when he had the chance?" "If you killed me now", I said with a slight smile, "Would you consider it fair?" "What do you mean?", he suspiciously asked. "Think about it Eion", I nonchalantly called out, "You'll be fighting "Kana" but at the same time, you won't. I'm not in my body. Will you really be able to kill me knowing that I won't be fighting the way I used to?" He didn't respond. When I was in Shiori's body, I only had a quarter of my strength. However it was much different when Shiori was in her own body. She knew how to manage herself. It was different for me. "Don't you want to prove to them that the left hand of Luurè is much stronger than his right hand?"

"Your point?", he said after a while. "Why are you here Eion." I had a feeling he came here against Luurè's orders. The only ones that I knew that should be here was Yuuto and a few others. "You should be in Makai. Luurè will be angry if he finds out you came here without his permission." "You don't know that", Eion snapped. "Oh but I do", I nonchalantly replied as I looked past him. I noticed two figures walking towards us in the dark. "Look."

There was a mischievous smile on Luurè's face as he approached us. Following after him was Xiela. "So this is where you've gone", he said as he turned his attention to Eion. "I was searching for you." Eion scowled at him before averting his gaze. "What are you doing here Luurè?", he was asked. "I thought you had something to attend to." "Why I've come here for you", Luurè replied. "It seems like you went out on a short notice." I sighed in dismay and shook my head. "See?", I mumbled. "Just as I said." "Shut up", Eion snapped. "Hmm...", Luurè mumbled. He looked at me, and then at Eion. "Could it be that you came here to see if this person really was the one you thought it was that evening?" "And if that were the case?", Eion replied. "I can't help what I find interesting. I had to make sure it really was her."

"Heh, I don't blame you", I chuckled as I crossed her arms over her chest. "If you hadn't shown up, I was expecting Xeila to come and confront me." Xeila scowled at me. "I should have known that there was something off about her", she said. "Whenever I ran into her, she always reminded me of you. Who would have thought that it was because of something like this." "You're right", I replied with a grin, "However you're also wrong." "Am I now..?", Xiela deviously muttered. I ignored her and turned back to Luurè. "Aside from that", I said, beginning to frown, "What brings you back to Ningenkai. Shouldn't you be back in Makai?" Luurè smiled. "It's just as I said", he replied. "I am here for Eion." "If so, then hurry up and leave. I have other things to do." Luurè laughed as he turned around. "Will do", I heard him say. He was the first to disappear from my sight. Xiela and Eion both stared at me with suspicious gazes. "Don't think this is all over", Eion warned, "I'm not done with you yet." I smirked and watched him turn around to follow after Luurè. "So be it", I nonchalantly replied. When he disappeared, it was just Xeila and I. It was a bit problematic. "I don't understand what you're trying to do", she said in a low voice. There was a mix of confusion, concern, disgust, and anger in her voice. "..And I don't think I ever will but if I were you, I would start being a bit more serious."

"Don't tell me you're worried?" She glared at me before turning around to follow after the other two. "Who? Me?", she said, not bothering to turn and face me. "Of course not."

"..."

When I could no longer feel their presence nearby, I looked up at the night sky and sighed. Xeila didn't have to tell me to be serious about what was to come. I was well aware. Because soon, time would move much faster than it did when Shiori disappeared.

I worried. Especially about one person in particular. An ignorant, naive one.
