03 | The plan

The camping trip went over in a blur and it was already Monday morning. All the teenagers were now standing outside Liam's house and saying their goodbyes to him.

"Promise me that we'll text, call and FaceTime everyday?"

"Yes, I promise"

"And promise me you won't get into trouble while I'm away?"

"Liam" Zayn chuckled as he looked down at his best friend, smiling softly at the shorter boy. "I'll be fine"

Liam squinted his eyes, narrowing his eyebrows at him. "I don't know if I can trust you..."

"You know, you're worse then my mother" Zayn shook his head with a soft chuckle, pulling the curly haired boy in for a tight hug. "You can trust me this time"

"Last time I trusted you, you ended up in the hospital because you broke your arm" Liam mumbled, burying his face in Zayn's neck, inhaling his sweet and strong scent.

"It wasn't really my fault" Zayn murmured softly into his friends curly hair once he nuzzled his nose in it.

Both the teenagers flinched when they hear the sound of a honk, Liam knowing it was his mother. He sighed softly and hugged Zayn tightly once more. "I'll miss you Zaynie..." He whispered softly.

"I'll miss you too Lima bean" Zayn grinned when he felt Liam punch his side. He laughed softly and kissed the top of his head. "Be safe and no boys and don't go getting a new best friend" Zayn said jokingly, but looked down at the boy with a serious face.

Liam scoffed and rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Don't worry, I won't find anyone as nerdy as you" He grinned cheekily, kissing his cheek before pulling away. "And you don't do anything stupid" He warned him before hugging Gigi and Harry goodbye.

"Please take care of him" He pleaded softly, looking at the two warningly.

"You worry too much" Gigi chuckled softly. "We'll take care of him while you're gone"

"You better" Liam smiled and hugged her once more. "You make sure you get some hot guys over there" The blonde chuckled softly and ruffled through his curls.

"I just told him no boys" Zayn gave Gigi a playful glare. Gigi returned the gesture by sticking her tongue out at the dark haired lad, grinning.

"Liam hun, we gotta catch a flight" The brunette heard his mother call from the car, Liam sighing softly. "I gotta go guys" He said and everyone turned to look at him with a frown.

"I'll only be gone for three months, it's not like I'll move or anything" Liam chuckled softly and was suddenly tackled into a group hug, he even heard Harry fake a sniffle.

"You're so over dramatic Harold" Gigi mumbled causing Liam and Zayn to laugh at that.

"Good luck with the family" Harry ignored Gigi, but ended up sending her a glare and a frown.

The two then ended up bickering once again, Zayn rolling his eyes at them before leading Zayn to the passenger side of the car.

"You sure you gonna be okay with those losers?" Liam asked as he looked up at him, pointing towards the two who were still bickering like a old married couple.
