Simon's POV
Josh stirred in my arms, slowly but surely waking up.
"Josh, you ok?" I whispered as the others continued to discuss where the hell we were. He nodded and sat up, moving so we were shoulder to shoulder. I hesitantly rested my head on his shoulder and he took my hands in his.
"I'm sorry." He whispered.
"For what?"
"For losing control."
"Why would yo-" I started, but JJ interrupted us.
"Hey, Josh, now you're up, how do you propose we get outta this hellhole?"
"Get out?" He asked.
"Yeah, we can't stay here forever." JJ pointed out.
"What if there's nothing out there?" I asked.
"There's gotta be something!" JJ exclaimed loudly, making Vikk, who was mumbling again, flinch as JJ was shouting right into his ear. JJ hastily apologised, rubbing Vikk's arm. Vikk smiled and consoled him before relaxing and snuggling into him. Why do I have the sudden urge to squeal?
"But what is there isn't? What if this is the only thing in this universe?" I yelled.
"Hey, chill!" Tobi said.
"Shut the f-" I started, before Josh butted in.
"Oi!" He yelled, sitting up and facing me. "Calm the hell down!" He told me. I stood up and stormed out to my bedroom. I shoved open the door and ran in, sitting down on the bed and burying my head in my hands. Josh followed, and sat beside me. He didn't say anything as I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Why are you crying?" He asked, wiping my tears with his thumb. I hadn't even realised I was crying.
"It's just, it's just, what do we do now?" I stuttered, bursting into fresh waves of tears.
"Ssssh. Ssssssh. It's okay. It's okay. I don't know. But that doesn't matter. Because whatever happens, we'll get through it together."
