— twenty-six ;

Jimin ditches Jihyo.

He doesn't know how or remember why, but all he remembers is that he's running right now to get to Yoongi's apartment. May Jihyo hate him all she wants, he only needs to talk to Yoongi and that's all that matters to Jimin and his complicated feelings.

He's almost out of breath by the time he reaches the latter's apartment. He first fixes himself to look at least a little bit presentable, even though he's probably the last person Yoongi wants to see right now, and then rings the doorbell with a single finger.

He'll understand if Yoongi doesn't answer or open understand. He deserved it for being such a-

"Jimin, what are you doing here?"

The person now in front is not Yoongi.

Jimin gulps as his palms begin to get sweaty again. "H-Hey, Namjoon-hyung. Is Yoong-hyung home?"

Namjoon is about to say that he is, but then he suddenly remembers what happened an hour ago when Yoongi came home with a red face and puffy eyes from all the crying. When Namjoon asked what happened, the older simply replied with "Jimin".

So with that memory keeping securely in mind, Namjoon leans against the door frame and crosses his arms. He's now pissed by the sight of the other male. "What's it to you?"

Don't get him wrong. Namjoon and Jimin are friends, but after what happened to his best friend there's no way he could just let the youngest pass.

"Please, hyung," Jimin's practically begging now and Namjoon averts his gaze for a moment. "I really need to see him and talk things out."

"Can't you tell he doesn't wanna see you right now?" Namjoon deadpans, making Jimin surprise. "After what you did to him, do you expect him to just be cool with things again and 'talk it out'? You obviously don't know him very well, and to think you guys were close." He glares at the younger afterwards as he takes a step back and closes the door, but again Jimin interrupts.

"Just call him out for me, hyung! It won't take long, I promise." Jimin continues to plead and tries to hold the older's hand but Namjoon pushes it away.

"Did you not listen to what I just said?" he hisses at him and Jimin stares at him with pleading eyes, wanting Namjoon to just hear him out and call Yoong-

"What's going on here?" The person they've both been talking about finally comes into scene. When he makes eye contact with Jimin, he feels his throat get dry.

"Hyung..." Jimin says almost in a whisper.

"Jimin." Yoongi states, his heart beating fast. "What are you doing here?"

"That's what I asked him the first time." Namjoon replies for him, glaring at the youngest. "He said he wants to talk with you."

Yoongi glances at his best friend then at Jimin with cold eyes. "There's nothing to talk about."

"Just give me a minute." Jimin asks for and steps forward, making Yoongi back off in response. Jimin sighs in defeat, maybe he really should just give him some time. "Fine. But can we talk things out tomorrow? Meet me at The Min's."

Yoongi scowls at him. "What, so you could ditch me again and take your little crush instead?"

Jimin frowns. "No, of course not. It was a mistake, hyung. I never wanted to do that."

"Forget it, Jimin. I'm just..." Yoongi says. "I'm just so tired right now and I don't wanna deal with this anymore. Just leave."

"But will you at least consider it? I really wanna talk to you." Jimin says desperately, wanting to hold Yoongi by the hands and grip them tightly.

Yoongi stares at Jimin for a moment. Namjoon stares at Yoongi, on the other hand, honestly wondering what the older would say. "Hyung." Namjoon whispers, just wanting the best for him.

"Okay."

Namjoon's jaw drops and Jimin smiles.

"G-Great! Thank you for giving me a chance, Yoongi. I'll meet you there at 6 pm, all right?"

Yoongi nods slightly. "All right."

Jimin suddenly moves forward and takes Yoongi by the shoulders, hugging him. Yoongi couldn't register exactly what he's supposed to do right now, but he just melts into the smaller's touch; loving the way his hair still smelled like strawberry.
