"hi." i say, hugging her. "surprised?"

"very!" she screams and jumps on me. "i missed you." she kisses me. "i'm going to cry so hard." she climbs down from me and hugs william. "i suspect you were behind this, mr. king of surprises."

"maybe i got some cheap flights and maybe i talked to your dad about disney, but i don't know." he hugs her and kisses the top of her head. "merry christmas, pip."

"yeah merry christmas, asshole." she cries.

"no, stop crying." i pull her away from william. "this is happy."

"i'm so happy are you kidding?" she says, hugging me back. "just shocked." she smiles and kisses me again. "wait, so are we still going to disney?"

"yes, we're still going to disney, pip." william says and she does a little dance. "just tomorrow because chris and i would like to sleep for a little bit."

"sleep?" piper looks at me. "it's like noon here!" she uses my own words against me, giggles falling from her lips. "oh i'm so happy you're here." she says, and hug me again. "oh let's go to disney now!"
